April 21, 2025

Deputy checked on a reported reckless driver on SH 21. No violations observed.

Deputy assisted stranded motorist with traffic control on Hwy 77 North during a tire change.

Deputies were requested to CR 217 for speed enforcement by a resident. Close patrol in effect.

Caller reported a suspicious male on a scooter on CR 418. Deputy responded to the area.

Deputy met with a complainant to investigate a report of harassment.

Deputies were called out to investigate a report of criminal mischief on FM 180. Complainant reported that their drone was shot. Active investigation.

Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance on CR 439. No offense, parties separated.

 

April 22, 2025

Complainant reported criminal trespass on Wilson Boyd Lane. Deputy responded to investigate.

Deputies responded to a verbal disturbance at Westwood Lane.

 

April 23, 2025

Sergeant conducted sex offender registry requirement checks.

Sergeant took a report of phone harassment.

Deputies responded to a disturbance on Blaha Avenue. Peace restored.

Deputy assisted GPD with traffic control at crash scene at 290/77.

Deputy assisted at scene of crash on FM 696 West involving vehicle vs. hog.

 

April 24, 2025

Deputy conducted a requested welfare check of a resting motorist on SH 21.

Deputy responded to Harry Street in regard to a juvenile matter.

Caller reported two suspicious trucks parked at CR 304/306. Deputy responded to the area but the vehicles were gone upon arrival. Close patrol in effect.

Deputy initiated a traffic stop at Hwy 290/CR 139. A probable cause search was conducted and evidence located on the suspect. One booked into Lee County Jail for Possession of Marihuana.

Deputy met with a complainant in regard to fraudulent activity on their bank account.

Deputy conducted a welfare check on a resident on CR 304 after a 911 call was received. All okay.

Sergeant conducted sex offender registry requirement checks.

Deputies assisted with funeral escort.

Deputies assisted at the scene of a crash in the 4400 block of SH 21 West.

Deputy was involved in a one vehicle non-injury fleet crash while responding to the previous crash in the rain.

Deputies assisted at the scene of a crash in the 1000 block of FM 1624.

Deputies conducted a traffic stop and vehicle search on CR 226. Two males were arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail for Possession of Controlled Substance.

 

April 25, 2025

Sheriff received calls of suspicious person going door-to-door on CR 227. Deputy located the individual notifying residents of fiber-optic construction in the area.

Caller reported a white male in a white Honda Accord taking pictures of a residence. Sergeant responded to the area.

Deputy conducted a traffic stop on South Burleson Street. One was arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail for DWI.

Deputy conducted a traffic stop at Hwy 290/CR 139. One subject was arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail for Possession of Marihuana and Tampering with Evidence.

 

April 26, 2025

Deputy assisted a stranded motorist with a vehicle unlock.

Deputy responded to a report of loud music in the Lexington Park parking lot. Deputy utilized decibel meter to determine no violation.

 

April 27, 2025

Deputy handled a crisis intervention call on CR 319.

Complainant reported criminal mischief to their property on CR 226.

Deputy responded to a requested welfare check on CR 306.

Deputies responded to a burglary alarm at a property on CR 217. Deputies located an open door, made a search of the ground level, and determined there was no criminal activity. The property owner was notified.

Deputies and GPD responded to a disturbance at Shady Oaks.

 

Deputies initiated 116 traffic enforcement stops, made 48 security checks, and responded to 20 animal/loose livestock calls.
