We hosted our 3rd annual Junior Deputy Academy at the Law Enforcement Center. Thirty Lee County youth (3rd-5th grade) from Dime Box, Giddings, and Lexington participated this year. At the conclusion of the day, the youth rode in a law enforcement parade to the Courthouse for their swearing-in and graduation. A great time was had by all. I would like to thank my staff, all of our Constables, Lee County EMS, and the pilots of Texas DPS for landing their helicopter for the kids to tour. Thank you to Cory Harris State Farm for sponsoring their lunch. Congratulations to Junior Deputy Class 2026-3!
Respectfully yours,
Garrett Durrenberger
