LEE COUNTY, TX - Lee County Sheriff Garrett Durrenberger reports the recent promotions of several Lee County Sheriff's Office employees.

Meredith Shaffer and Chaddric Clay promoted from Jailer to Sergeant in the LCSO Jail Division. Their duties are vital to not only front-line supervision, but also ensuring compliance with state rules and regulations. These two positions were filled due to vacancies.

John Young and Jace Jones promoted from Sergeant to Lieutenant in the LCSO Criminal Investigations Division. More often than not, these Investigators field calls around the clock and are prepared to respond to scenes with supplemental techniques and resources. While the titles are new, the positions are not.

Aaron Ramirez promoted from Sergeant to the newly created Captain's position. Capt. Ramirez commands the Criminal Investigations and Communications Divisions.

Capt. Jordan Mastronardi, who formerly supervised all of enforcement, now commands the Patrol Division. This change allows each Captain a more effective ratio of employees.

"It is great to see your employees perform consistently at such a high level; especially when they set the bar themselves and continuously improve the protection and services we provide for our citizens. I'm very proud of all of our employees - they work together as team members to get the job done 24/7/365."

Respectfully,

Garrett Durrenberger
