Deputies Arrest Man Following Report of Gunfire in Ledbetter

On Saturday, August 15, 2026, at approximately 9:32 p.m., Deputies with the Lee County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of gun fire in the 1100 block of County Road 123, Ledbetter, Texas.
The Lee County Sheriff's Office Communications Center received a 911 call reporting that a man, identified to be Kenneth Bradshaw, had raised a shotgun and fired in the direction of a passing vehicle occupied by two adults and three children.

Upon receiving the report, Deputies responded to the area and established barricades on County Road 123 to prevent any additional persons or vehicles from exposure to the threat. Members of the Lee County Sheriff's Office Special Response Team (SRT), Criminal Investigations Division, and Lee County Constable Precinct 2 responded to assist with the investigation and apprehension of the suspect.
Deputies utilized a LCSO Star-One (drone) to assist in monitoring the property. The drone operator determined the suspect had gone back into his residence. Deputies carried out a tactical operation to surround the residence and issue verbal commands for the suspect to exit the residence. The suspect complied and was taken into custody without further incident and booked into the Lee County Jail for:
- Deadly Conduct Discharge Firearm (3rd Degree Felony)
Investigators recovered evidence from the scene.
The investigation remains ongoing, and additional charges may be considered as the case is reviewed by the appropriate authorities. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
