November 14, 2022

0032 - Sergeant Strouth came across a vehicle parked on County Road 124. Contact was made with the occupant and the vehicle continued on its way.

0249 -Sergeant Strouth drove upon a cow out on County Road 317. The cow was removed from the roadway.

0550 - Deputy Dudley came across an accident on Hwy 77 and FM 3403. A filing cabinet had fallen off a truck striking the vehicle behind it. No injuries reported.

0553 - Sgt. Holloway came across a cow out on FM 141 and CR 428 and was able to return the cow to the pasture.

0655 - A call was received of a vehicle striking a deer on FM 696. DPS responded.

0703 - A call was received of a vehicle hitting a deer. DPS responded.

0841 - A 911 call was received reporting a cow out on FM141. Deputy Dudley responded but was unable to locate any loose livestock.

1057 - Sgt. Ray responded to a possible theft off County Road 320.

1156 - Deputy Turner responded to cows out on CR 430 and was able to secure the livestock.

1204 - Guard Rail damage was reported to TXDOT at Rabbs Creek and FM 448.

1519 - Deputy Dudley responded to cattle out on CR 114.

1700 - Deputies Turner and Dudley responded to a 911 call reporting a two vehicle accident on Hwy 21 near Lincoln Fire Station. No injuries were reported.

1852 - A call was received for cows out on CR 430 near CR 428. Deputy Brown responded but livestock was already secured by owner.

1938 - A call was received reporting a disturbance at a residence on CR 127. Deputies Dickerson and Brown responded.

2308 - A 911 call was received requesting an ambulance on CR 114. Deputy Brown and EMS responded.

2347 - An alarm company requested a welfare check on Hwy 77. Sgt. Jones responded and all was ok.

0342 - An alarm company reported an SOS button on a vehicle was activated. Deputy Brown responded but could not locate the vehicle in that area reported.

 

November 15, 2022

0612 - A call was received from ADT Securities to report a commercial burglar alarm at a business in on US Hwy 290. Sgt. Holloway and Deputies Dudley and Turner responded. Building was secure.

0838 - Deputy Dudley responded to a call reporting dogs out chasing livestock and tearing up trash on CR 133. Deputy could not make contact with owners.

0848 - A call was received about cows out on FM 1697 at FM 141. Sgt. Holloway and Deputy Turner responded and cleared cattle from roadway.

0941 - Deputy Dudley responded to a call about cows out on CR 114 and was able to remove the cattle from the roadway.

0941 - Sgt. Holloway removed a cow from roadway on CR 430.

1209 - Sgt. Holloway responded to a call about cows out on FM 141 near CR 119. The livestock was removed from roadway.

1313 - Sgt. Holloway met with a subject to update the sex offender registry.

1549 - Loose cattle were reported on CR 114.  Deputy Dudley responded but could not locate livestock.

1551 - Sgt. Holloway and Deputies Dudley and Turner responded to the jail for a disturbance.

1406 - Sgt. Holloway and Deputy Turner met with a subject at the Sheriff's Office for possible credit card abuse.

1652 - Deputy Dudley responded to a call for an estray bull at the Lexington Auction Barn.

1724 - Cattle were reported out on CR 114.  Sgt. Holloway responded and removed cattle from the roadway.

1916 - Sgt. Jones assisted a motorist on Hwy 77 and Hwy 21.  All is ok.

 

November 16, 2022

0713 - Giddings PD reported a cow out on FM 448. The officer was able to secure the cow back on the property.

0745 - Sgt. Young responded to a call of a cattle out on CR 114 but was unable to locate any loose livestock.

0854 - Cpl. West responded to someone wanting to speak to a deputy about his neighbor's dogs on CR 118.

0929 - Sgt. Young was able to secure a bull on CR 401.

0945 - A call was received about cows out on CR 114 about 3 miles from Hwy 77.  Sgt. Young was able to remove the livestock from the roadway.

1243 - Sgt. Young responded to a possible identity theft.

1300 - A two vehicle accident with both drivers pinned was reported. Giddings PD asked the Fire Department assist for traffic control.  EMS was requested.

1645 - A bull was reported out on Hwy 21 near the West Yegua Bridge.  Cpl. West responded but was unable to locate any loose livestock.

1750 - Sgt. Young came across an accident on US Hwy 290 East.  EMS was notified. Giddings PD worked the accident.

2005 - A possible house fire was reported on CR 301. County units, Blue VFD, Lexington Squad and Elgin FD were notified.  Deputy Brown responded.  Elgin unit advised it was a controlled burn.

2030 - OnStar reported that they received a distress signal from a fleet vehicle on CR 326 near bus barn. Deputies Haman and Brown responded but were unable to locate any vehicles.

2141 - Deputy Haman advised of a deer carcass in the roadway on Hwy 77 and Hwy 21.  The carcass was removed from roadway.

2346 - Deputy Haman advised of a Lee County Water vehicle parked at the Water Supply in Serbin off of CR 208.  Vehicle was secure and all was ok.

 

November 17, 2022

1125 - Captain Allen responded to a location off County Road 217 for a harassment case.

1203 - Corporal West attempted a civil process on CR 420. Papers were served.

1245 - Lt. Mastronardi transported a subject from Elgin that was arrested on a Lee County warrant.

1445 - CPL West attempted a civil process on CR 320. Papers were served.

1515 - A call was received reporting cows out on CR 430 near Hwy 21. CPL West responded.

1542 - A 911 call was received for a one vehicle accident on CR 216.  Sheriff's Office units, Lee County FD, Giddings FD responded.  EMS was notified.

1605 - Cattle were reported out on CR 133. CPL West responded and secured the cattle.

2050 - A request for civil stand by on Hwy 290 was received. All units unavailable due to major crash call.

2051 - A major two vehicle accident on Hwy 77 near CR 220 was reported. The accident involved an 18-wheeler and a passenger car. All county units responded, Lee County EMS, Giddings FD and Southern Lee County FD were notified. DPS trooper responded due to Fayette County officers on another call. One driver transported via air evac and report was taken.

 

November 18, 2022

0737 - A call was received about a cow out on FM 141 between PR 1416 and CR 119. Sgt. Holloway reported the cow jumped back over the fence and off of the roadway.

0934 - Deputy Dudley assisted a stranded motorist on FM 696.

1218 - Deputy Dudley responded to a call about a cow out on FM 141 near PR 1416. There were no cows on the roadway.

1220 - Sgt. Holloway and Deputy Dudley responded to a verbal dispute on FM141. No weapons were involved. A report was taken.

1302 - Two cows were reported out on CR 119 near CR 127. Sgt. Holloway was unable to locate any livestock.

1438 - A caller reported a cow out on CR 118.  Deputy Dudley located the livestock and removed it from the roadway.

1737 - Deputy Dickerson responded to a call about a cow out on CR 119 about a mile from FM 141.

1844 - Cattle were reported out on CR 119 just off FM 141. Sgt. Holloway could not locate any livestock.

2130 - Deputy Dickerson conducted a traffic stop on Hwy 290.  One subject was arrested for possession of marijuana and brought to jail. The vehicle was towed and the dog was taken to an animal shelter.

 

November 19, 2022

0149 - Deputy Dickerson assisted Giddings PD on E Austin Street with a verbal disturbance.

0358 - A call was received to report a cow out on FM141 near CR116. Sgt. Jones removed the cow from the roadway.

0416 - Sgt. Jones and Deputy Dickerson assisted Giddings PD on S Williamson Street with a disturbance. Giddings PD arrested one subject.

0511 - Sgt. Jones came across a suspicious vehicle at Walsh Store. The subject was waiting for another person to arrive.  All was ok.

0736 - Deputy Dudley attempted to serve civil papers on N Ellis Street. No contact was made.

0804 - Sgt. Holloway responded to a call about cows out on CR 430 but was unable to locate any livestock.

1553 - A stole iPhone was reported and tracked to a residence outside of Lexington. Deputies Dudley and Turner and Sgt. Holloway arrived at the residence but could not make contact. A report was taken.

2114 - Deputy Dickerson removed a cow from the roadway on CR 317.

2349 - Travis County called requesting a welfare check on CR B. Sgt. Jones and Deputy Dickerson responded. All was ok.

 

November 20, 2022

0015 - Cattle were reported out on Hwy 77 near CR 220. Deputy Dickerson responded and removed the cattle from the roadway.

0113 - A call was received reporting cows out on Hwy 77 near the American Legion Hall. Deputy Dickerson was unable to locate any loose livestock

0625 - A call from the Bastrop County Sheriff's Office advising they have a unit in pursuit of a vehicle travelling eastbound on Hwy 290. A unit attempted a traffic stop but the driver swerved and almost struck the officer head on. A unit successfully deployed spike strips and vehicle was stopped. All Lee County units returned to service and Bastrop County has the subject detained.

0729 - A 911 call was requesting EMS. Lee County EMS and Squad 1 were notified. EMS requested assistance from Lee County Sheriff's Office due to aggressive dogs at the scene.  Sgt. Holloway and Deputies Dudley and Turner responded. EMS was able to tend to and transport patient to the ER.

1038 - A longhorn cow was reported out on CR 118 near AJ's Body Shop. Units were able to remove the cow from the roadway.

1112 - A call was received about a cow out on Hwy 77 South near CR 217. Sgt. Holloway and Deputies Dudley and Turner responded and secured the cow off the roadway.

1411 - A report was made of a vehicle on the side of the road. Deputy Turner responded. Vehicle is off the roadway and unattended. The vehicle was red tagged.

1526 - Deputy Dudley and Sgt. Holloway responded to a cow out on CR 406 near CR 405 but were unable to locate any loose livestock and the roadway was clear.

1534 - Deputy Turner assisted a motorist on Hwy 21 near 5th Street. The driver had assistance on the way.

1603 - Deputy Turner and Sgt. Holloway assisted a trooper on a traffic stop east of the Country Store on Hwy 21 in Dime Box. The trooper conducted a search. Driver was taken into custody and transported to the Lee County Jail. Lexington Auto was called to take possession of the vehicle. Sgt. Holloway and Deputy Turner remained on the scene for vehicle inventory.
