5/6/2024

Store employee requested a Deputy at 8900 Hwy 77 in Lexington for suspicious activity. Deputy arrived and conducted a walk through with the employee. All okay.

Complainant from CR 441 reported a missing bull. Deputy responded to investigate and make report.

Caller requested a welfare check on a neighbor who had not been heard from in two days. Deputies responded to investigate. The individual inside the residence called out for help. Deputies made forced entry and Lee County EMS transported the individual for treatment.

Deputies responded to four false 911 calls at four different locations, which all turned out to be accidental dials.

Motorist reported a female walking on FM 180 near FM 1697 and reported almost hitting her. Sergeant responded but was unable to locate. Another motorist called back to report that the same female got into a red pickup truck.

DPS Austin reported a Trooper in pursuit of a vehicle on Hwy 290 entering Lee County. Deputies and Giddings PD responded to assist. The vehicle was stopped on Hwy 290/Titus St.

Deputy responded to numerous false 911 calls from a business on Hwy 290 West.

Individual surrendered himself at the sheriff's office on an outstanding warrant. Deputy processed male subject into Lee County Jail.

Sergeant met with a complainant at the sheriff's office in regard to an assault. Information taken for report.

SO Burleson County advised a subject was being dropped off at truck stop on SH 21. Deputy responded to provide courtesy transport to Bastrop County.

Caller reported kids on the bridge at FM 1697. Sergeant responded but subjects were gone upon arrival.

Caller reported a female walking on CR 133 and requested that a Deputy check on her. Deputy responded and met with the lady who was exercising.

 

5/7/2024

Male subject surrendered himself at the sheriff's office on outstanding warrant. Deputy processed him into Lee County Jail.

Sergeant spoke with complainant regarding a juvenile matter on CR 118.

Complainant from Westwood Lane reported their spouse pulled a knife and was making threats. Deputies and Trooper responded to investigate. One male subject was arrested for assault family violence and booked in the Lee County Jail.

Male subject surrendered himself at the sheriff's office on court order. Deputy processed him into Lee County Jail.

Caller reported a suspicious silver Dodge pickup truck driving slowly in a neighborhood in Dime Box. Sergeant and Deputy responded to patrol the area; however, the vehicle was gone upon arrival.

Motorist reported a single vehicle crash on Hwy 77 North. Deputies, Lincoln VFD, and Lee County EMS responded to the scene.

 

5/8/2024

Complainant from CR 305 reported two vehicles stolen from their property. Deputy responded to investigate and report. Vehicles were entered stolen into database.

SO Williamson County requested welfare check on individual at Oak View Lane. Deputy made contact.

Sergeant took report of phone scam where the caller claimed to be law enforcement and requested money deposited into a machine to avoid a warrant. Information taken for report.

A concerned parent called the sheriff's office regarding a juvenile matter. Deputy located the juvenile who was processed with juvenile probation and released to parents.

Deputy spoke with complainant in reference to trespassing on CR 430.

SO Burleson County transferred reckless driver call on SH 21 East. Trooper and Chief Deputy located the vehicle in question.

Deputies responded to CR 404 to investigate a reported assault. One individual was arrested and transported to Lee County Jail.

Complainant from CR 405 spoke with a Deputy in regard to a juvenile matter. Juvenile was located in Travis County.

Deputies responded to a crisis intervention at a residence on SH 21 East.

 

5/9/2024

Motorist reported being hit by a truck pulling a trailer at SH 21/Hwy 77. Caller reported that the truck driver drove off southbound on Hwy 77. Chief Deputy and Giddings PD located the driver who was returned to the crash scene. Crash investigated by DPS Trooper.

Deputies responded to Westwood Lane to assist with civil process of an eviction.

Caller from out-of-state called to report his credit card being used and products being delivered to an address on CR 221. Captain referred the caller to his local law enforcement to start a report.

Sergeant took information from a complainant in regard to falsified documents. Report taken.

Complainant met with Deputy at the sheriff's office in regard to harassment. Information taken for report.

Complainant on CR 431 reported a white male came to their residence claiming to be a Deputy. The male was driving a white car and stated he was there to serve a warrant. Deputies responded to the area but were unable to locate. Complainant met with Deputy to file a report.

Deputies, Constable Pct. 2, Giddings Fire, and Lee County EMS responded to a fire on CR 226 at the county line.

Deputies responded to FM 1697 on a report of a male family member causing a disturbance. Deputies arrived to investigate, and the complainant declined to file charges.

 

5/10/2024

Male subject surrendered himself at the sheriff's office on outstanding warrant. Deputy booked him into Lee County Jail.

Deputies and JP Precinct 2 responded to a residence on CR 118 for an inquest.

Deputies patrolled Nails Creek State Park on report of juvenile matter.

Complainant reported rapid firing in the area of FM 141/CR 121. Deputies responded and located individuals who were target shooting lawfully.

Deputy spoke with a complainant from CR 216 in reference to a theft of service. Information taken, report pending.

Motorist on CR 113 reported a suspicious Maroon Jeep in the area. Close patrol in effect.

Caller reported a suspicious gray Ford driving slow on CR 320. Sergeant and Deputy responded but the vehicle was gone upon arrival.

Caller reported a suspicious black SUV parked on FM 448. Deputy responded and located the vehicle which had a flat tire. Motorist had a friend bringing tools to assist.

Deputy assisted a Trooper on a traffic stop on Hwy 290 with a wanted subject.

Deputies responded to a crisis intervention call on Giddings St. Report taken.

Deputy responded to Westwood Lane for a dog bite. Deputy took report and the animal was quarantined.

Complainant reported loud music oat 1:30am on CR 133. Deputy responded and the music was turned off.

Complainant reported a vehicle parked in his driveway on CR 113. Deputy located the vehicle and the persons involved with the vehicle. All okay.

Motorist reported a single vehicle crash on CR 217. Deputy responded to investigate and report.

 

5/11/2024

Caller reported a pregnant dog tied up with no food/water on Giddings St. Deputy responded with dog food, but the dog was too aggressive. Deputy contacted a family member to care for the animal.

Caller reported her family member was being assaulted and phone taken by her domestic partner on CR 133. Deputies responded to investigate. One male subject was arrested for assault family violence and interference with 911. Suspect was booked into Lee County Jail.

Motorist reported juveniles recklessly operating a four-wheeler and a dirt bike on CR 117. Deputy patrolled the area, but the juveniles were not located.

Deputies assisted with funeral escort.

Sergeant assisted motorist with vehicle unlock in Giddings.

SO Williamson County requested assistance with an 18-wheeler broken down on FM 112 in their county. Lexington PD and Deputy responded to assist until a wrecker could remove the vehicle.

A short time later, the wrecker service called to report the vehicle took off without paying and the wrecker driver followed them until the 18-wheeler struck a truck at Hwy 77 North of Lexington. Driver was arrested for possession of marihuana. Wrecker service was referred to Williamson County for other potential charges.

Motorist reported a one vehicle crash on Hwy 77 South/CR 217. Deputies responded and upon further investigation, the driver was arrested and transported to Lee County Jail.

Motorist reported that her vehicle broke down on SH 21/CR 327 at 1:45am. Deputy responded to assist until a wrecker could arrive. Female subject was transported to an out-of-county facility for crisis intervention.

 

5/12/2024

Complainant from CR 320 reported his fence cut. Deputy responded to investigate and make report.

Motorist reported a truck fire on FM 696 West. Lexington PD and Lexington VFD responded to the scene.

Deputy assisted Lexington PD, VFD, and Lee County EMS with medical call on Sixth St. Patient transported by EMS.

Deputies responded to a reported disturbance on CR F. One female suspect was arrested and transported to Lee County Jail.

Caller reported a suspicious truck that was driving and turning around in driveways on CR 305. Sergeant and Deputy responded however the vehicle was gone upon arrival.
