7/24/2023 - 7/30/2023


 

7/24/2023

Subject came to LCSO to turn himself in on an active warrant.

Caller requested a welfare check on her son that she hasn't seen in a month. Deputy responded and took a missing person report.

Caller stated he was assaulted with a chair in Carmine. Caller was referred to Fayette County.

Deputies assisted GPD with disturbance at apartment complex. Discovered to be siblings roughhousing. All okay.

 

7/25/2023

Caller reported burglary of storage unit. Deputy responded to the scene to take a report.

Deputy took a report of motorcycle damage in Lexington.

Deputy assisted Game Warden with an injured deer near Lexington.

Deputies responded to a suicidal subject in Lexington. Subject was transported to a facility for services.

Caller requested a welfare check on elderly citizen in Dime Box. A Deputy made contact, and all was okay.

Caller reported a suspicious vehicle stopping cars on Hwy 290 west. Deputies responded and made contact with the DPS unit.

 

7/26/2023

Caller requested to file charges for an assault. Offense occurred in Travis County. Caller was referred to Travis County.

Caller requested traffic control on Hwy 21 for changing a tire. A Deputy responded to assist.

Deputies responded to an inquest in the Lexington area.

Caller requested a vehicle be towed from their property. Caller was advised to contact a towing company.

Caller reported a reckless driver on Hwy 290 West. Deputies attempted to locate the vehicle, which was later found by GPD.

Caller called requesting help for a disturbance on Hwy 290 East. Deputies responded and one subject was arrested for Assault Family Violence.

 

7/27/2023

Deputies responded to two trucks blocking the roadway at Hwy 77/CR 114. One of the trucks was broken down and was being off-loaded. Trucks were no longer blocking traffic.

Caller stated a customer fell in the parking lot and was breathing, but unresponsive. Subject was located and evaluated by EMS.

Caller reported a family civil issue. Information taken for a report.

Deputies responded to a major crash involving two semi-trucks on Hwy 290 West. Vehicles were blocking traffic. Deputies assisted with traffic control.

Caller reported she was bitten by a dog. Caller received medical treatment and spoke with a Deputy for an information report.

Caller requested a welfare check on her son in Lexington. Deputy made contact and the son advised he would call his mother.

 

7/28/2023

Caller reported a one vehicle crash on FM 696 West near the FM 112 split. Deputies responded to assist with traffic control.

Deputies responded to a verbal disturbance west of Giddings. Parties were separated and information was taken for a report.

A Deputy initiated a traffic stop on a motorcycle for reckless driving. The violator failed to stop, and a pursuit ensued on Hwy 77 North. The motorcycle crashed south of the Lexington city limits. The driver was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Deputies responded to Lexington to assist LPD with a 9-1-1 call reporting a wanted subject. Subject was not located at the scene.

 

7/29/2023

Deputies initiated a traffic stop for a violation. The driver then evaded in a truck through the Loebau area and back in the city of Giddings. The pursuit ended on Boundary St, where two male suspects fled on foot, but were quickly apprehended without incident.

Caller reported a male juvenile running along Hwy 21 near the RV park. Deputies patrolled the area but were unable to locate anyone.

Deputy responded to Dime Box where a caller reported his nephew would not allow him into the house. Subjects were advised of the civil issue and information was taken.

 

7/29/2023

Caller advised her dog was shot twice. Deputy responded and gathered information for a report.

Caller from Elgin area reported neighbor's dogs being aggressive. Deputy responded to the area but was unable to locate the dogs at the time.

 

7/30/2023

Deputies responded to Lexington area for a crisis intervention. Subject was transported to a facility by EMS.

A Deputy initiated a traffic stop near Giddings for reckless driving. The motorcycle evaded down Hwy 77 South into Fayette County, where the pursuit was called off prior to entering La Grange.

Caller on CR 127 reported a theft of equipment. Deputy responded to investigate and take information for a theft report.

Caller reported a one vehicle rollover crash on SH 21 / FM 141. Deputies responded to assist.

Deputies responded to a motorcycle crash on SH 21. Subject was transported by EMS.

Caller requested Deputies responded to his home for a verbal altercation with his wife. Deputies responded and the parties were separated as no offense had taken place.

Deputies responded to a Lexington business for a subject sleeping inside. The subject was located and found to have an active warrant. He was arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.
