June 19 - June 25, 2023

 

 June 19, 2023

04:10 - A caller stated that her son and daughter in law could not drive their vehicle and needed help. Deputy Dudley and Deputy Dickerson were dispatched to Peterson's to assist. The deputies gave a courtesy ride to a group of individuals to a hotel in Giddings. The vehicle remained at the store until someone could retrieve it.

10:00 - Deputy Crenshaw was out on CR 426 with debris in the roadway. The roadway was cleared of the debris.

10:19 - Deputy J. Hilmo checked out with a vehicle in the 4600 block of FM 696 West. The driver advised that they were having mechanical issues and had a tow truck on the way.

11:33 - Sgt. West and Deputy Eickenhorst were out with a disabled vehicle on Hwy 21 near CR 404. The driver had a flat tire and was waiting on family to come help.

11:37 - Dispatch received an open line 911 call transferred by Williamson County. The call was pinging in the 3600 block of FM 112. Deputy J. Hilmo responded and made contact with an individual. They advised it was an accidental call.

12:34 - A caller requested a civil standby at an address on CR 132. Sgt. West and Deputy Eickenhorst stood by while the tenant got some of her belongings.

13:10 - Deputy J. Hilmo checked out with a vehicle that had lost part of its hay load on Hwy 77 in front of the Giddings High School. The deputy provided traffic control while the hay was reloaded onto the trailer.

15:02 - Dispatch was advised of debris in the roadway on Hwy 77 at Third Street in Lexington. Deputy J. Hilmo cleared the roadway of the debris.

15:44 - A 911 caller advised that her sister was threatening to harm her. Sgt. West, Deputy J. Hilmo and Deputy Eickenhorst responded to the call on Scenic View. The caller was advised to tell her sister to stop contacting her by any means. No report at this time.

16:37 - A clerk at Walch Store requested help with a customer that needed a courtesy ride to the Pilot on Hwy 21. Deputy J. Hilmo responded but the subject was gone upon arrival.

18:29 - A motorist reported a tree partially in the roadway on Hwy 77 North. Deputy Haman responded and TXDOT was notified. The deputy remained on scene until TXDOT was able to remove the tree from the roadway.

20:42 - Deputy Haman and Deputy J. Brown were out with a motorist on Hwy 77 North just south of Lexington. The motorist needed help putting her vehicle on a trailer. The vehicle was loaded, and the motorist was back on the road.

21:59 - A complainant advised that his juvenile daughter was receiving threatening texts and would like a deputy to meet with him at his residence on CR 316. Deputy Haman responded and was advised that the juvenile would not be back at the residence until next week. Information was taken. No report at this time.

22:55 - Deputy Haman checked out with an abandoned vehicle on CR 314 at FM 112. The vehicle was unoccupied and secure.

23:03 - Deputy Haman conducted a business check on CR 313. The gate was locked but there was an open door. The deputy checked the area, and all was secure.

23:22 - Alarm Connections requested a business check at a business in Lexington because the alarm had not been activated. Deputy Haman checked the location, and all was secure.

 

June 20, 2023

05:31 - A motorist reported a vehicle with hazards on in the ditch on FM 448 in Northrup. There appeared to be no one around the vehicle. Deputy Haman and Deputy J. Brown located the vehicle and advised it had a flat.

07:20 - Deputy Crenshaw was dispatched to the 2200 block of Hwy 21 for a deer carcass in the roadway. The deputy cleared the roadway.

08:45 - A landlord requested a civil standby at a residence on CR 132. Deputy Crenshaw conducted the standby without incident.

09:14 - Sgt. West spoke with a complainant on PR 2032 about a stray horse that has been pinned up on his property. The complainant was advised that the horse would have to be estrayed. A cowboy was contacted to pick up the horse and take it to the Giddings sale barn.

11:01 - The Sheriff's office received a phone call about people dumping some brush or wood at an address on CR 118. Deputy J. Hilmo responded and spoke with an individual who advised they were moving stuff from the back of the property to the front and would be getting it hauled off.

12:53 - A complainant came into the Sheriff's Office to speak with a deputy about receiving death threats over the phone. Information was gathered for a report.

13:34 - Tex Villa Apartments requested a deputy to check an abandoned apartment because they were receiving complaints of dogs barking. Deputy Crenshaw responded and found the dogs with no food or water. The dogs were taken to the Giddings Animal Shelter, and information was taken for a report.

14:47 - Sgt. West met with a complainant at the Sheriff's Office in reference to animals on his property on FM 180. The complainant advised that the animals belong to his nephew. Sgt. West spoke with the nephew who advised that he would have the animals off the property by the end of the week. The complainant was advised to call the Sheriff's Office if the animals are not removed.

18:45 - A caller from FM 180 reported that her daughter was playing at the Giddings Elementary and saw a male go into the abandoned building next door with a baby and a knife. Her daughter suggested that foul play had occurred. Deputy J. Brown responded to the residence to meet with the mother and daughter. Deputy Haman and Giddings PD responded to the abandoned building to check for foul play. There were no signs of foul play. Information was taken for a report and dropped off with Giddings PD to continue an investigation.

19:43 - Sgt. Strouth advised that a female approached him at Dairy Queen in Giddings stating that her luggage fell off the back of her truck somewhere on Hwy 290 East between Brenham and Giddings. Deputy J. Brown checked the area to the Fayette County line and did not locate any luggage. Information was passed on to Fayette and Washington Counties and was advised to contact Dispatch if anything was found.

20:58 - Sgt. Strouth checked out at the Lexington Food Mart in reference to multiple recent alarm calls. The clerk provided contact information for the owner and would let him know of the problem.

21:04 - ADT Health reported a residential medical alarm at a residence on FM 1624, Dispatch made contact with the homeowner who advised it was an accident.

22:16 - Dispatch was advised by Sgt. Strouth that he was out with a female walking on Fifth Street near Rockdale Street in Lexington. The female advised she was fine.

22:33 - Bastrop County passed on information for a rolling disturbance with a last known location of Hwy 290 at PR 2909. Bastrop County received a 911 call and could hear a female screaming in the background along with a male voice. Deputy Haman and Deputy J. Brown located a vehicle and initiated a traffic stop near Bucees. The vehicle was occupied by one male and one female. The female advised she did not call 911.

23:24 - Trooper Silva checked out on traffic on Hwy 290 West near PR 2003. A PC searched was conducted, and Deputy J. Brown arrived on scene to assist.  The passenger was found to be in possession of multiple THC pens. The passenger was taken into custody and transported to the Lee County Jail for booking. The vehicle was released to the driver.

23:29 - Deputy Haman advised she was out at the storage unit on Hwy 77 North across from the Giddings High School with a vehicle in the parking lot. Contact was made with the occupant, and no suspicious activity was observed.

23:32 - Dispatch received a 911 hang up call from an address on Deerwood Drive in Elgin. Sgt. Strouth responded and checked out with several juveniles who stated they accidentally called.

 

June 21, 2023

01:43 - Sgt. Strouth checked out with three subjects walking along the roadway on Hwy 77 North near Cefco in Lexington. They advised they were just walking to the store.

02:01 - A vehicle was observed parked at the pumps at Walch Store in Lincoln. Sgt. Strouth made contact with the driver who advised he stopped to sleep for a while.

02:02 - Deputy Haman advised of an 18-wheeler parked on the side of the roadway on CR 330 near Hwy 77. The driver advised he was waiting to get his trailer loaded.

05:01 - A subject came to the Sheriff's Office to turn himself in on an active warrant. Sgt. Strouth booked the subject into the Lee County Jail without incident.

07:06 - Deputy E. Hilmo met with a complainant at their residence in Town and Country Mobile Home Park. The complainant stated that he was bit by a dog. He went to the hospital to be treated and was released. Deputy E. Hilmo made contact with the owner of the dog, and a report was taken.

10:14 - A motorist reported a white Lexus SUV swerving all over the roadway almost hitting the guardrail on Hwy 21 West. Constable Gonzales located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop on near Walch Store. Cpl. Ellington and Deputy E. Hilmo arrived on scene to assist. The driver stated he was just tired and was advised to get some rest.

10:31 - Deputy L. Brown was dispatched to the 1900 block of FM 696 East for a male subject in a wheelchair on the side of the road. The area was checked but the deputy could not locate the subject.

11:40 - A mother called the Sheriff's Office stating that her daughter has not been seen at their residence on CR 408 in Lexington for several days. She stated that she also has not been to work. Deputy L. Brown spoke with the mother and was able to locate the daughter.

12:31 - Deputy E. Hilmo and Constable Gonzales responded to a call about a stranded motorist on Hwy 21 near the Bastrop County line. The motorist advised that she ran out of gas, and that she had her small children with her. Deputy E. Hilmo let the family sit in his patrol vehicle while Const. Gonzales went to get gas. Gas was added to the vehicle, and the family was back on the roadway.

13:04 - A caller reported a white Ford truck with a U-Haul trailer attached to it parked near the fence line on Hwy 290 West near Altman Plants. Deputy L. Brown checked the area but did not locate the vehicle or trailer.

13:09 - A motorist reported a male subject walking along Hwy 290 East on the westbound side. The motorist was concerned for his safety and the heat. Cpl. Ellington checked Hwy 290 from Giddings to Ledbetter but could not locate the subject.

14:32 - Deputy E. Hilmo met with a complainant on CR 114. The complainant stated that someone spray painted several mailboxes along the county road. Information was taken for a report.

14:57 - A caller requested to speak with a deputy about a civil matter. Deputy L. Brown met with the caller on CR 414 in Lexington. After gathering information, the deputy advised her to contact the JP's office.

20:51 - Bastrop County advised they had received two open 911 calls from an address on North County Line Road. Deputy Dickerson responded and was unable to locate any emergency.

21:59 - Deputy Dudley and Deputy Dickerson were dispatched to Hwy 77 at Hwy 21 for a two-vehicle accident. EMS and Lincoln VFD also responded to the call. Upon arrival, Deputy Dickerson advised that an 18-wheeler and a smaller SUV were involved. Trooper Silva arrived on scene and took the crash report. Two occupants in the SUV were transported to a hospital in Bryan. Lincoln VFD assisted with traffic control and cleared the roadway. Owen's took possession of the SUV.

23:42 - Deputy Dudley checked out with a motorist near the 4900 block of Hwy 77. Everything was fine.

 

June 22, 2023

00:27 - Dispatch received numerous 911 hang up calls from an address on PR 4363. Dispatch attempted to make contact, but the calls were declined and there was no option to leave a voicemail. Deputy Dudley responded but was unable to make contact due to the gate being locked. Dogs were also on the property keeping the deputy from checking the property.

01:31 - A caller reported a cow out on Hwy 21 near FM 2440. Deputy Dickerson located the cow and removed it from the roadway.

04:27 - Deputy Dudley was dispatched to Hwy 21 between FM 2440 and CR 113 for cows out. The area was checked but no loose livestock was located.

08:02 - Dispatch received an open 911 call from an address on Kay Street in Giddings. A man and a woman could be heard yelling at each other. Cpl. Ellington and Deputy E. Hilmo responded to the disturbance and made contact with the subjects. They advised that everything was fine, and it was just verbal.

11:53 - Deputy E. Hilmo was dispatched to FM 180 to meet with a complainant about a male subject. The complainant is the caretaker of the male subject, and she was concerned about him. She stated that he would disappear for days. Deputy E. Hilmo was advised that the male subject would go to a residence on PR 5000. The deputy conducted a welfare check on PR 5000, but the subject was not there.

13:15 - Cpl. Ellington and Deputy E. Hilmo assisted Giddings PD with a call on West Austin Street involving a juvenile. The juvenile's mother was located and was released to her.

14:07 - A caller reported that someone dumped some puppies and the mother at a job site on CR 329. Deputy E. Hilmo responded and spoke with a homeowner who advised that they were not his dogs. The Giddings Animal Shelter was contacted, but they advised they were full and could not accept the dogs.

15:39 - Capt. Mastronardi spoke with a complainant at the Sheriff's Office in reference to a male subject that claims to be with Travis County Task Force. She stated that the subject came into Bubba's Truck Stop asking her about her son. Capt. Mastronardi attempted to make contact with Travis County but was unsuccessful.

16:35 - Deputy Kocurek conducted a welfare check at a residence on CR 314. No contact was made.

18:55 - The complainant from a previous call advised that she had more information in regard to the male subject that asked about her son. Deputy Dickerson spoke with the complainant and gathered information. Deputy Dickerson was given a phone number that came back to a bail bonds company in Austin.  Deputy Dickerson left his information for a supervisor to call him back. The supervisor made contact with the deputy, and he was advised to notify the Sheriff's Office the next time they attempted to make contact with an individual regarding bond.

19:03 - A motorist requested assistance with a flat tire on Hwy 21 near CR 430. The motorist stated that he needed a jack to change the tire. Deputy Dudley responded to the call and requested Dispatch to make contact with the wreckers to see their prices on coming out to change a tire. The motorist was provided with the information.

19:28 - Deputy Dudley was dispatched to PR 1147 at CR 114 for a loose horse. The caller advised that the horse has been out for about 3 weeks now, and no one has been able to catch it. A cowboy was contacted about the horse, and the cowboy's information was given to the caller.

19:33 - ADT Security reported a business alarm at a business in Lexington. Contact was made with the key holder, and she requested a deputy to make scene. Deputy Dudley responded to the call. While the deputy was enroute, the security company called back to cancel. They were advised by the key holder that a sensor was out and it was triggering the alarm.

19:45 - Deputy Dudley advised he was out with loose livestock near the 8700 block of FM 141. The goats were secured off the roadway.

22:15 - A motorist reported a disabled vehicle on Hwy 290 near CR 202. Deputy Dickerson responded, and the vehicle was being removed from the roadway upon his arrival.

 

June 23, 2023

00:24 - Deputy Dickerson was dispatched to Hwy 21 near FM 2440 for a loose cow. The cow was removed from the roadway, and the deputy made contact with the owner. Information was taken for any future calls.

07:20 - Dispatch received a call about large cow out in the 4200 block of Hwy 77. Sgt. West located the cow and secured it off the roadway.

08:55 - A complainant came to the Sheriff's Office to speak with a deputy about items stolen from his property in Paige. He advised that the person he thinks that stole the items lives in Lee County. Deputy Crenshaw met with the complainant, and it was determined that the items were sold not stolen.

09:02 - Deputy J. Hilmo was dispatched to CR 405 to meet with a resident about mailbox damage. The resident stated that someone spray painted his mailbox. Information was taken for a report.

09:03 - Dispatch received three open 911 calls from an address on Hwy 21 East in Dime Box. Sgt. West responded and made contact with the owner. She advised that her granddaughter was playing with the phone and called 911 by accident.

09:54 - Sgt. West met with a complainant at the Sheriff's Office in reference to theft of service. The complainant advised that he bought a house from another subject, who was with the complainant, and had paid someone to move the house off the property on CR 125. The complainant and seller were finally able to make contact with the mover, who advised that he spent the money and could not find anyone to help him move the house. Sgt. West and Deputy Crenshaw went to PR 8022 to make contact with the mover, but no one was home. Information was taken for a report.

09:58 - Deputy Crenshaw checked out at Tex Villa Apartments for a case follow up.

11:29 - Capt. Mastronardi conducted a case follow up on South Navarro Street. No contact was made.

12:41 - A motorist reported a Chevrolet truck traveling westbound in the eastbound lane of traffic on Hwy 21 in Dime Box. The vehicle then ran off the roadway and returned back to the roadway traveling westbound in the correct lane of traffic at a high rate of speed. Sgt. West, Deputy Crenshaw and Deputy J. Hilmo checked the area but could not locate the vehicle.

13:10 - Deputy Kocurek and Lexington PD Officer Cox checked out at a residence on CR 314 for a case follow up. Contact was made with an individual.

13:45 - Bluebonnet Trails requested a welfare check on a subject at Tex Villa Apartments. The subject called the crisis line the previous day, and now they cannot reach the subject. Deputy Crenshaw responded to the call, and no one was home.

14:38 - Deputy Kocurek advised he was out with a motorist on Hwy 77 south of the Middle Yegua Creek. The driver advised they had a service truck on the way to help fix the tire.

14:42 - Dispatch received a report of a reckless driver on Hwy 21. The 18-wheeler was swerving all over the roadway. At the time of the call, they were passing FM 696 about to enter the county. The caller then advised that the 18-wheeler pulled into Bubba's Truck Stop. Deputy Crenshaw responded and made contact with the driver. He advised that he was not aware that he was swerving.

16:13 - A property owner from PR 4487 advised that there were several goats on his property that do not belong to him. He wanted the goats removed from the property. Sgt. West responded and had dispatch attempt to contact an owner and cowboy but was unsuccessful. Owner was asked to keep the goats on his property for at least 24 hours until contact could be made.

16:14 - Deputy Crenshaw and Deputy J. Hilmo returned to Tex Villa Apartments to try to make contact with the subject from a previous call. The deputies were able to make contact, and the subject advised she was fine.

16:56 - A caller advised that two horses appeared to be starving on FM 2440. She stated she threw a bale of her own hay over the fence to feed them. Deputy Crenshaw checked the area but could not locate the horses.

16:59 - Deputy Crenshaw and Deputy J. Hilmo conducted a follow up on a case on FM 141.

18:48 - Lee County EMS advised that Bastrop County called them to report a dog bite at an address on North County Line Road. Bastrop County then called dispatch and advised that their EMS was already on scene and needed a deputy. Deputy J. Brown responded and made contact with the resident who advised there was no dog bite there nor did EMS come to his house. Bastrop County later advised that the dog bite occurred at an address in their county.  

19:48 - A motorist reported a charter bus driving westbound on Hwy 290 East that had two blown tires. Deputy Haman located the bus and it pulled into Cefco in Giddings. The driver advised that he had someone enroute to change the tires. The bus did not have any passengers.

20:59 - Deputy Haman was dispatched to the area of Hwy 290 East and CR 226 for gunshots. The caller stated that she heard multiple gunshots in the area behind her residence. The deputy stayed in the area for about 15 minutes and did not hear any gunshots or see any suspicious activity.

21:05 - Dispatch received a call about a small black calf out on FM 696 West near Cannonball Lane. Deputy J. Brown responded and checked the area but was unable to locate any loose livestock.

21:08 - Sgt. Strouth advised that a subject flagged him down at the Dime Box Vet Clinic stating there was an 18-wheeler traveling westbound on Hwy 21 without any lights on. Sgt. Strouth was able to locate the 18-wheeler on Hwy 21 near FM 3403 on the side of the roadway with its hazards on. The driver advised he had someone enroute to fix the 18-wheeler. The driver was identified and found to be wanted out of Bexar County. The owner of the trucking company advised he would have someone enroute to pick up the 18-wheeler. Deputy Haman arrived on scene to wait for someone to take possession of the 18-wheeler. Sgt. Strouth transported the driver to the Lee County Jail for booking. At 01:26, a wrecker made it on scene and took possession of the 18-wheeler.

 

June 24, 2023

01:01 - A caller advised of a small black calf out on CR 135 near CR 114. Sgt. Strouth responded and removed the calf from the roadway.

01:42 - Deputy J. Brown was dispatched to the area of Hwy 77 just south of FM 1624 for a black cow out. The cow was located and secured off the roadway.

08:14 - A property owner reported that someone drove through his fence during the night on CR 108. He advised there was damage to fence and a trail feeder. Sgt. West and Deputy Eickenhorst met with the property owner, and a report was taken.

09:05 - Dispatch was advised that a train had been sitting for an hour and a half on the tracks near CR 118. Union Pacific was notified.

09:39 - Deputy J. Hilmo conducted a follow up at an address on CR 133. Information was taken for a report.

10:30 - A complainant called the Sheriff's Office requesting to speak to a deputy about her options when her neighbor's aggressive dogs come onto her property. Deputy Crenshaw spoke with the complainant and advised her of her options.

11:33 - Dispatch was advised of a down stop sign at CR 309 and FM 1624. TXDOT was notified.

12:25 - Deputy J. Hilmo advised he was out with Giddings PD at the city hall with two males that were using metal detectors. Giddings PD advised them to get permission from the city to be out there.

13:02 - Sgt. West advised that himself, Deputy J. Hilmo and Deputy Eickenhorst would be at Sonic on a case follow up.

14:02 - A resident on Giddings Street in Lexington advised that there was a goat in her backyard that did not belong to her. Reserve Deputy Terpstra responded and advised that he checked with the sale barn who stated that the goat belongs to them. The goat was taken back to the sale barn.

16:30 - Deputy J. Hilmo was dispatched to the Lexington Sale Barn for an animal complaint. The caller stated that someone parked at the sale barn left a small dog tied to a truck and trailer. The deputy made contact with an individual who advised that the owner went to get some cows and would be returning shortly. Water was given to the dog, and a report was taken.

18:16 - Sgt. West advised of debris in the roadway in the 3900 block of FM 141. The roadway was cleared of the debris.

18:33 - A complainant from CR 127 called the Sheriff's Office requesting to speak with Sgt. Strouth about an incident. Sgt. Strouth spoke with the complainant, and she was advised she needed to make a report with Fayette County.

18:39 - A motorist reported a one-vehicle rollover accident on Hwy 290 just west of Altman Plants. Sgt. Strouth, Deputy Haman and Deputy J. Brown responded to the accident along with EMS and Giddings VFD. The occupants of the vehicle refused treatment from EMS. Tillary's took possession of the vehicle, and crash report was taken.

19:46 - Deputy J. Brown was dispatched to an address on Hwy 77 North in Lexington for an animal complaint. The caller stated that a dog at the address was being abused. The deputy made contact with the residents who advised that they do not have a dog matching the description nor seen one in the area.

20:21 - Deputy Haman checked out on Hwy 77 at Hwy 21 for debris in the roadway. The roadway was cleared of the debris.

20:29 - A complainant from a residence on Hwy 77 North in Lexington advised that her neighbor drove up to her residence and started threatening her and her kids. She advised it happened the moment the deputy left the property. Deputy Haman and Deputy J. Brown responded and spoke with the neighbor who stated she was just trying to leave and did not threaten anyone. The complainant advised that she wanted to press charges, and information was taken for a report.

21:02 - Dispatch received a 911 hang up call from an address on CR 454. Screaming could be heard in the background before the call disconnected. Sgt. Strouth, Deputy Haman and Deputy J. Brown responded to the call. Once on scene, Deputy Haman located a female subject with a child who advised that her boyfriend was drunk and had assaulted her. The male subject had left the scene on foot. The subject was located and advised that he was assault by his girlfriend, identified as the female subject. The male subject had multiple physical injuries, and the female did not have any visible injuries. The female subject was arrested, and a family member was called to take custody of the children. The male subject was given a courtesy ride to a store in Giddings to meet his mother. The female was booked into the Lee County Jail, and a report was taken.

21:34 - Dispatch received several calls until after midnight about loud music in the area of Drewry Lane in Lexington. Sgt. Strouth responded and advised that it sounded like the music was coming from CR E. One caller advised that the music was coming from an address on Scenic View. Sgt. Strouth arrived on scene and advised that they had a live band. The music was off, and the band was leaving.

21:43 - Sgt. Strouth was dispatched to CR 121 for a 911 hang up call. The deputy made contact with a resident who advised it was an accident.

22:17 - A caller from PR 8060 off of CR 430 reported that the residence was filled with smoke, and they could smell burning coming from the kitchen. Everyone was advised to exit the residence. Dime Box VFD responded to the call.

23:17 - Dispatch received a call about a reckless driver on Hwy 290 East traveling westbound coming into the county. No county units in the area. Information was passed on to Giddings PD.

23:23 - Deputy Haman and Lincoln VFD responded to a call about a barn on fire in the 1800 block of Hwy 21 East. The caller advised that the barn is next to a residence, and everyone was out of the residence. Lincoln VFD advised they were able to get the fire out. Information was taken for a report.

23:45 - Bastrop County called requesting assistance with an active disturbance at the Cotton Bowl on CR 202. Deputy J. Brown responded and assisted Bastrop County deputies.

23:56 - Sgt. Strouth and Deputy Haman were dispatched to a one-vehicle rollover accident on Hwy 290 East at FM 180. Giddings PD, EMS and Giddings VFD also responded to the accident. Two occupants were transported by EMS, and BDS took possession of the vehicle. The roadway was cleared, and a crash report was taken.

 

June 25, 2023

03:09 - A caller reported loud music in the area of Deerwood Drive. Sgt. Strouth was enroute when the caller advised that the music was turned off.

07:31 - Deputy J. Hilmo responded to a call about a cow out on Hwy 77 at PR 7712. The cow was located and removed from the roadway. The owner will be fixing the fence.

11:37 - Deputy Crenshaw and Deputy J. Hilmo were out at an address on CR 114 to issue a citation. No contact was made.

12:45 - A case follow up was conducted at Sonic by Deputy Crenshaw and Deputy J. Hilmo. No contact was made.

13:29 - A father called from Austin stating that his son's phone was pinging at Bubba's Truck Stop in Dime Box. He advised that his son was supposed to be driving home from College Station. Deputy Crenshaw and Deputy J. Hilmo responded to the truck stop and made contact with the son. The son advised he was just taking a nap.

14:17 - Deputy Crenshaw and Deputy J. Hilmo attempted to serve a citation at an address on CR 133, but no contact was made. At 15:35, contact was made, and the citation was issued.

15:38 - Petersons Grocery in Lexington advised that a customer had hit the gas pump with their car. Deputy Crenshaw and Deputy J. Hilmo responded to the call. The owner of the store stated that the pump already had the damage. The driver hit the trashcan damaging her car. Deputy Crenshaw assisted the driver with changing her tire.

17:18 - A motorist reported a reckless driver on FM 448 that just came into the county. The vehicle was driving at a high rate of speed. Deputy Crenshaw and Deputy J. Hilmo checked the area but could not locate the vehicle.

20:42 - A complainant requested to speak with a deputy about a vehicle parked at the Blue VFD for a few weeks. Deputy J. Brown met with the complainant and advised him that the Sheriff's Office could not tow the vehicle because it's on private property.

20:44 - Deputy J. Brown checked out with debris in the roadway on Hwy 77 at CR 114. The roadway was cleared of the debris.

21:04 - Bastrop County transferred a 911 hang up call from an address on North County Line Road. There was no call back number provided. Deputy J. Brown responded and made contact with the residents. They advised it was an accident.

21:28 - Deputy J. Brown was dispatched to FM 696 West for a vehicle vs. cow accident. The caller advised that a vehicle hit a calf and was parked in his driveway. He also advised the driver was fine and the calf was out of roadway. Upon the Deputy's arrival, the vehicle was no longer on scene.

22:47 - A citizen approached Deputy J. Brown and advised there was a vehicle parked behind a pile of rocks near FM 696 W and CR 307 that had been there for a few days. Deputy J. Brown located the vehicle, and advised it was unoccupied and secure. The vehicle was red tagged.
