April 3 - April 9, 2023

 

April 3, 2023

01:50 - Deputy Crenshaw checked out with a suspicious vehicle on CR 114 near Hwy 77. Contact was made with the driver, who advised he pulled over to sleep. Everything was okay.

05:38 - Dispatch received a silent 911 call pinging at an address on CR 404. Attempts were made to make contact via phone, but no one answered. Cpl. West, Deputy Crenshaw, Deputy J. Hilmo and Deputy Kocurek were dispatched to the address to make contact with someone. An individual advised that it was an accidental call.

09:55 - Sgt. Jones was dispatched to an address on FM 141 to meet with a complaint. The complainant stated that the neighbor keeps cussing out the employees at his business. After the deputy arrived on scene, the male subject took off and ran into the house. Deputy Ellington and Deputy Eickenhorst assisted Sgt. Jones with attempting to get the subject to come out of the house. A report was taken.

10:56 - A resident on FM 2239 reported a vehicle blocking the entrance to her property. Deputy Kocurek responded to the call and advised that there was a flatbed wrecker on scene loading up the vehicle. The deputy remained on scene for traffic control.

11:23 - Dispatch received a call about a two-vehicle accident in the 100 block of West Austin Street. The caller stated that one person was pinned in, and the light pole fell on top of the vehicle. Deputy Ellington and Deputy Kocurek assisted Giddings PD, EMS and Giddings VFD with the accident.

11:54 - Deputy Kocurek was dispatched to a residence on Hope Street for a suspicious vehicle. The resident advised that there was a white pickup parked in front of his house taking pictures. The vehicle was located and reported to be the county tax appraiser.

13:32 - Bastrop County advised that a black Hyundai was headed eastbound on Hwy 290 going through Paige at the time of the call. The vehicle was failing to maintain a single lane of traffic. Information was passed on to Giddings PD due to not having any units in the area.

16:57 - A motorist reported a disabled van on Hwy 21 at FM 2440. The vehicle was stalled in the outside westbound lane of traffic. Deputy Kocurek searched the area but was unable to locate the vehicle.

17:15 - Deputy Ellington, Deputy Kocurek and Deputy Eickenhorst were dispatched to a residence on CR 206 for a possible scam. The complainant stated that two male subjects showed up at the residence trying to sell his mother paving materials. He stated that he has the subjects on camera. Information was gathered.

20:24 - Deputy E. Hilmo advised he was out with an 18-wheeler for a motorist assist on Hwy 21 near the Yegua Creek. The driver advised he has assistance on the way.

20:34 - A complainant reported that a younger male subject was on his property on CR 200 trying to take a lawn mower. Sgt. Holloway, Deputy Dickerson and Deputy Dudley responded and advised it was a civil issue between family members.

20:03 - Dispatch received a call about someone shooting and running over a rabbit on FM 2440. Sgt. Holloway was given the information and passed it on to the Game Warden.

23:50 - Deputy E. Hilmo advised he was out at the Silos with two suspicious vehicles. Contact was made with two subjects who advised they were there talking about business. The deputy left the scene and returned within 20 minutes to check the area again. Both subjects and vehicles were gone.

 

April 4, 2023

09:28 - Deputy Kocurek met with a complainant on Post Oak Driver in reference to some loose dogs. The complainant stated she was having trouble with dogs in the area going through her trash and scattering it everywhere. Information was taken but no report at this time.

10:37 - Dispatch received multiple 911 hang up calls from Altman Plants. Deputy Ellington and Deputy Eikenhorst responded and checked the area. Workers advised everything was fine.

11:31 - Sgt. Jones, Deputy Ellington and Deputy Eickenhorst were dispatched to a residence on FM 141 for a disturbance. The caller stated that her uncle tried to hit her mother in the face while she was holding her 2-year-old brother. The caller was able to block the hit, and he hit her arm. The subject took off on foot, and stated he was going to come back and burn the house down. Sgt. Jones located the subject and took him into custody. Deputy Ellington and Deputy Eikenhorst spoke with the victims while Sgt. Jones transported the subject to the Lee County Jail for booking. A report was taken.

14:17 - A property owner on CR 127 advised that her bull has been missing for three weeks. The bull is black with a white tipped tail. If anyone locates it, they can contact the Sheriff's Office.

18:14 - Deputy E. Hilmo met with a complainant on Eagle Loop in Lexington in reference to a possible stolen vehicle. The complainant stated that her son's ex-girlfriend took her vehicle to run some errands and never returned. Since the subject was given permission to use the vehicle, Deputy E. Hilmo advised the complainant of her options since it's a civil matter.

18:51 - A resident on FM 1624 reported that his ex-girlfriend drove by his place and has been harassing him. Deputy E. Hilmo met with the caller, and information was taken for a report.

20:10 - A 911 caller on FM 180 advised that a four-wheeler had been driving up and down his driveway. Deputy E. Hilmo attempted to make contact with the caller but was unsuccessful.

20:11 - Sgt. Holloway, Deputy Dickerson and Deputy E. Hilmo responded to calls about loose cattle on Hwy 21 at the intersection of Hwy 21 and Hwy 77. Deputy Dickerson advised that one cow had already been hit and was in the roadway. TxDOT was notified to help remove the carcass. The roadway was cleared.

22:08 - A motorist reported three head of cattle out on Hwy 21 near Hwy 77 intersection in the eastbound lane. Sgt. Holloway and Deputy Dickerson checked the area but were unable to locate any loose livestock.

 

April 5, 2023

01:38 - Sgt. Holloway and Deputy Dickerson were dispatched to the intersection of Hwy 21 and Hwy 77 for loose cattle. Upon arrival, deputies found a cow that had been hit. TxDOT was notified to help clear the roadway. Deputy Dickerson spoke with the female subject who hit the cow, and advised she had no injuries and did not need a wrecker. The roadway was cleared, and the cows went west of the Yegua Creek underneath the bridge.

04:39 - Sgt. Holloway advised that he was out with a vehicle at Prosperity Bank in Dime Box. Contact was made with the occupant. The deputy advised the subject would be sleeping in his vehicle in the parking lot.

07:13 - Rockdale PD transferred a 911 caller that stated she hit some hogs around the 1000 block of FM 112 close to the county line. The vehicle was drivable, and the caller's husband removed the hogs from the roadway. Cpl. West reached out to the caller and was advised no report was needed.

07:23 - A motorist reported a vehicle parked at the intersection of Hwy 290 and CR 203 with the flashers on. Deputy Crenshaw and Deputy J. Hilmo checked the area but were unable to locate the vehicle.

07:35 - Deputy J. Hilmo removed a deer carcass from the roadway on Hwy 290 West near the Bastrop County line.

07:55 - Deputy J. Hilmo assisted a motorist on Hwy 21 in Lincoln. Everything was fine, and the vehicle was back on the road.

08:19 - Brinks Home Security advised of a motion sensor alarm going off at a residence on a private road off US 77. Cpl. West, Deputy Crenshaw and Deputy J. Hilmo checked the property, and everything was secure. Cpl. West made contact with the homeowner, who was aware that the alarm kept going off. He advised he would contact the security company.

08:50 - A complainant came into the Sheriff's Office requesting to speak to a deputy about someone trespassing on her property on FM 448. Deputy Crenshaw met with the complainant, and information was taken. No report at this time.

09:24 - Deputy J. Hilmo assisted a stranded motorist on Hwy 290 with a flat tire. The tire was changed, and the motorist was back on the road.

09:38 - A caller reported that he ran over a stop sign at Hwy 290 East and CR 235. Cpl. West and Deputy Crenshaw responded and took a crash report. TxDOT was advised of the down stop sign.

10:27 - Deputy J. Hilmo cleared debris from the roadway around the 7800 block of Hwy 77 North.

13:22 - A pack of goats were out on FM 141 near CR 428. Cpl. West and Deputy Crenshaw located the goats and secured them off the roadway. They advised the fence was down, and the goats would most likely get out again.

14:16 - Deputy Crenshaw advised he was out with an abandoned RV that has been on the side of Hwy 21 around the 4300 block for two weeks. BDS Towing was dispatched to pick up the RV.

15:23 - A caller on FM 141 advised that the goats were out again. Cpl. West made contact with the owner, who advised he was repairing the fence and securing the goats.

15:51 - Dispatch received several calls about a black cow running alongside Hwy 21 just west of Hwy 77. Deputy Crenshaw located the cow, and secured it off the roadway.

16:02 - Cpl. West was dispatched to CR B to meet with a complainant about stolen property. The complainant was given a statement form to complete and return. Information was taken but no report at this time.

16:55 - Deputy Crenshaw responded to a call about a missing calf on CR 332. The deputy met with the caller, and information was taken for a report.

18:07 - A motorist reported that she hit a dog on FM 141 near CR 122. Deputy Haman and Deputy J. Brown responded to the call. The dog has minor injuries and was taken to the Giddings Animal Shelter.

19:10 - Deputy J. Brown checked out at an address on FM 141 for a follow up. The subject was not there.

21:01 - A caller advised of a small burn pile that was concerning since it was close to the roadway on Hwy 290 East near FM 180. Sgt. Strouth responded and made contact with an individual, who advised it was a control burn. Due to the rain, the fire was almost out.

21:58 - Dispatch received a call about multiple cows out on FM 696 East near the Yegua Creek. Deputy Haman and Deputy J. Brown located the cows and secured them off the roadway.

22:24 - Sgt. Strouth was dispatched to Hwy 290 West near the Bowling Alley for a reckless driver. The caller advised the vehicle was failing to maintain a single lane of traffic and was traveling westbound. The vehicle was last seen passing the Sheriff's Posse arena. The deputy checked the area to the Bastrop County line but was unable to locate the vehicle.

 

April 6, 2023

00:22 - A caller reported that a motorist was traveling on FM 448 near Rabbs Creek when a tree fell in front of the vehicle causing the driver to hit it. The driver was en route to an emergency call when this happened and was no longer on scene. Sgt. Strouth and Deputy Haman responded to the scene of the accident, and found the tree was blocking the entire roadway. TxDOT was notified, and the tree was cleared from the roadway. Information will be gathered for a crash report.

01:46 - Deputy J. Brown advised of a suspicious vehicle parked at the Lexington Middle School. The vehicle was unoccupied and secured.

08:25 - A property owner reported that a vehicle hydroplaned and hit her fence located in the 2000 block of Hwy 21. Sheriff Goetz, Sgt. Ray, EMS and Lincoln Fire were dispatched to the scene. An accident report was taken. B&M took possession of the vehicle.

08:37 - Cpl. West was dispatched to a one-vehicle accident on Hwy 21 in the 2000 block. The 911 caller stated that a car had hydroplaned, and there were no injuries. The driver called Triple H Towing out of Caldwell. Information was taken for a crash report.

09:59 - A motorist called 911 to report that he saw a car hydroplane off Hwy 21 near CR 454. Deputy J. Hilmo responded but the vehicle was gone upon arrival. No property damage was observed.

10:03 - Cpl. West advised that a tree was down on CR 430 near CR 424. Pct. 4 Commissioner was notified.

12:05 - Dispatch received several 911 calls reporting a one-vehicle accident on Hwy 21 near FM 3403. Deputy Crenshaw and Deputy J. Hilmo responded to the scene along with Dime Box VFD and EMS. Pct. 4 Commissioner was notified of the extensive fence damage done. Govan's took possession of the vehicle. Information was taken for a crash report.

12:27 - Cpl. West assisted Trooper Pennartz with a one-vehicle accident on Hwy 21 near CR 440. The driver refused medical treatment, and Tillery's took possession of the vehicle. DPS took the crash report.

12:48 - A complainant from PR 1802 stated that she was not being allowed to go on the property to get some of her belongings. Deputy Crenshaw met with the complainant, and advised her that it was a civil matter.

13:50 - A 911 caller advised of a one-vehicle accident on Hwy 21 near CR 404 with airbag deployment. Lt. Adams, Cpl. West, Dime Box VFD and EMS responded to the scene. The driver complained of chest pains but refused EMS transport. Lt. Adams gave the driver a courtesy ride to the County Store to meet the driver's parents. Lexington Auto took possession of the vehicle. Information was taken for a crash report.

14:58 - Dispatch was advised of a one-vehicle accident on Hwy 290 at FM 180. The vehicle hydroplaned and ended up backwards in the median on the west bound side. No injuries were reported. TxDOT was notified of damage to median wire, and B&M took possession of the vehicle. DPS took the crash report.

15:06 - Sgt. Ray, Deputy Webber, Giddings VFD and EMS were dispatched to a one-vehicle accident on Hwy 77 near CR 114. Tillery's took possession of the vehicle, and information was taken for a crash report.

15:31 - Cpl. West and Deputy Crenshaw advised that there was water over the roadway on Cr 117 and CR 116. Pct. 1 Commissioner was notified.

15:48 - Dispatch received several 911 calls for a one-vehicle accident on Hwy 21 at FM 3403. Sgt. Ray, Deputy Webber, Deputy Crenshaw, Dime Box VFD and EMS responded. Govan's took possession of the vehicle. Information was taken for a crash report.

16:06 - Cpl. West and Deputy J. Hilmo were dispatched to Hwy 21 near the Burleson County line for an accident. Dime Box VFD also responded. The vehicle hydroplaned and caused no damage.

16:36 - TxDOT reported that they found some catalytic converters near the 4200 block of FM 2440. Sgt. Ray responded and located an owner. Everything was okay.

16:49 - Cpl. West, Deputy J. Hilmo, Dime Box VFD and EMS responded to a 911 call about an orange car that hydroplaned and went into the ditch on Hwy 21 east of Bubba's Truck Stop No vehicle could be located but Cpl. West located an orange bumper and a piece of paper with a name on it. There was damage to the fence line. Dispatch was notified that the orange car was at Walch Store in Lincoln. Deputy Crenshaw made contact with the driver so a crash report could be taken.

17:40 - A 911 caller reported a two-vehicle accident on Hwy 21 just east of FM 3403. Sgt. Ray, Sgt. Strouth, Cpl. West and Deputy J. Hilmo all responded along with Dime Box VFD. A crash report was taken.

17:44 - Deputy J. Brown and Giddings VFD were dispatched to a 911 one-vehicle accident on Hwy 77 near CR 223. No injuries were reported. B&M was able to pull the vehicle out and get it back on the road. Information was taken for a crash report.

17:29 - A complainant on County Road 405 reported that all the tires on her vehicle had been slashed. Deputy Haman met with the complainant, and a report was taken.

18:13 - A motorist advised of cows out on CR 113 near the bridge. Deputy J. Brown located the cows and secured them off the roadway.

19:55 - Dispatch received a call about multiple cows out near the 2300 block of CR 412. Sgt. Strouth located the cows and secured them off the roadway on CR 413.

20:11 - Deputy Haman and Deputy J. Brown were dispatched to FM 180 near FM 1697 for a male subject riding a four-wheeler up and down the roadway. The deputies checked the area but were unable to locate the subject.

23:08 - Sgt. Strouth advised of a suspicious vehicle on CR 314 near the water plant. Contact was made with the occupant who advised he was doing security for the area.

23:46 - Sgt. Strouth conducted a traffic stop on FM 696 West near the Blue fire station. The driver was found with multiple firearms, one of which was confirmed stolen and a large amount of marijuana. The driver was arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail. A report was taken.

 

April 7, 2023

00:26 - Dispatch received a 911 call about a four-vehicle accident on Hwy 290 East in Ledbetter. All information was passed on to Fayette County. They requested agency assist due to not having any units in the area. Deputy J. Brown assisted with the accident.

00:59 - A caller reported that he was pulling a trailer into his driveway on Hwy 77 South when the trailer slipped into the ditch. He advised that he would be leaving the trailer there until morning when a wrecker can come pull it out.

10:05 - Dispatch received a 911 call from an Apple Watch reporting that the subscriber was involved in an accident on Hwy 77 about 6 miles north of Giddings. Airbags were deployed. Dispatch was able to make contact with the subscriber who stated she was okay. She advised she lost control and hit a fence.  Deputy Ellington and Deputy Eickenhorst responded to the scene along with Giddings VFD and EMS. B&M took possession of the vehicle, and a crash report was taken.

10:22 - Bastrop County transferred a call about a reckless driver on Hwy 21 East going eastbound. The vehicle was failing to maintain a single lane of traffic. At the time of call, the vehicle was entering Dime Box. Due to the weather, units advised they would not be able to catch up to the vehicle. The caller was transferred to Burleson County.

11:47 - A motorist reported a white hatchback passenger car in the ditch on the westbound side of Hwy 21 near CR 453. There appeared to be no vehicle damage or anyone around the vehicle. Deputy Kocurek responded to the call and advised there was no damage to the vehicle or property. Tillery's was dispatched to pull the vehicle out of the ditch.

13:20 - dispatch received 911 calls about a one-vehicle rollover accident on Hwy 21 east of CR 113. One caller stated that there was a second accident further east involving three to four vehicles with airbags deployed. Giddings VFD, Lincoln VFD and EMS were dispatched to the accident near CR 113. Deputy Kocurek checked Hwy 21 east of 77 to the crash site east CR 113 for the multi vehicle accident but did not locate anything. Deputy Ellington and Deputy Eickenhorst checked Hwy 21 east of the first crash for the other accident and did not locate an accident as well. The driver refused transport by EMS and had her father take her instead. The vehicle was released to Tillery's. A crash report was taken.

14:08 - A caller advised of a two-vehicle minor collision in the parking lot of the Lincoln fire station.  Deputy Eickenhorst took information for a crash report.

14:38 - Deputy Ellington and Deputy Eickenhorst were dispatched to Town and Country Mobile Home Park for an animal complaint. The deputies met with both parties involved. The owner of the dogs agreed to keep the dogs out of the first house.

15:41 - A motorist reported a cow out in the 8400 block of Hwy 77 North. Deputy Kocurek located the cow and secured it off the roadway.

16:46 - Dispatch received a call about a calf out on FM 141 near CR 117. Deputy Kocurek located the calf and secured it in a pasture located in the 3400 block of FM 141.

17:01 - Deputy Ellington gave a male subject a courtesy ride to the Super 8 motel in Giddings.

18:00 - B&M Towing requested a deputy for traffic control for on Hwy 77 South while they pulled out a trailer from the ditch of a driveway. Deputy Dickerson assisted with traffic control.

19:57 - A caller advised that a vehicle ran into a tree on the 2nd curve of Post Oak Drive. Deputy Dickerson responded and located no one around the vehicle. B&M was dispatched to take possession of the vehicle. A crash report was taken.

20:49 - A resident on CR 217 reported two vehicles racing down the road towards the Bullpen. Deputy E. Hilmo checked the area but could not locate any vehicles racing.

22:15 - Sgt. Holloway checked out at Bubba's Truck Stop for a welfare check and a close patrol of the property. Everything was okay.

 

April 8, 2023

00:01 - Dispatch received an automated 911 call stating there had been a crash detected then the line disconnected. Dispatch received a second 911 call came but the line disconnected before any information could be gathered. The call pinged at an address on Seventh Street in Lexington. Sgt. Holloway and Deputy E. Hilmo responded and advised a vehicle had hit a tree. Tillery's was dispatched and took possession of the vehicle. Information was gathered for a crash report.

08:52 - A motorist reported a passenger car on the side of Hwy 77 just north of CR 411with its flashers on. Deputy Ellington located the vehicle and made contact with the driver. The driver advised that he already had someone on the way to help him.

09:17 - Sgt. Jones and Deputy Kocurek conducted warrant service at an address on Industry Ave in Dime Box. The subject fled on foot but Sgt. Jones was able to apprehend him. The subject was taken to the Lee County Jail for booking.

11:07 - A complainant came to the Sheriff's Office with her son to speak with a deputy about a tractor her son purchased from another subject. The complainant stated once the tractor was sold to her son, the seller's sister became very upset. The sister called the complainant and her son advising them they could not take the tractor. Deputy Kocurek met with the complainants in the lobby. The son provided the deputy with a bill of sale signed by the seller .Sgt. Jones and Deputy Kocurek followed the complainants to an address on PR 2901 for a civil standby while they retrieve the tractor. At 12:52, Deputy Kocurek advised that someone had parked a vehicle across the private road preventing him and the complainants from leaving. Dispatch made attempts to contact the owner of the vehicle but got no answer. Govan's was dispatched to move and tow the vehicle. One female subject was taken into custody and transported to the Lee County Jail. A report was taken.

14:47 - Sgt. Jones and Deputy Ellington conducted warrant service at an address on Shady Circle in Lexington. A female subject with multiple warrants out of Milam County was taken into custody and transported to the Milam/Lee county line to be released to Milam County.

17:11 - Deputy Dudley was dispatched to meet with a complainant on CR 117. The complainant stated that someone broke into his equipment shed and took several tools, fencing equipment and fencing materials. Information was taken for a report.

18:18 - Sgt. Holloway advised he was out with five head of cattle near the 6500 block of FM 141. The cattle went back over the cattle guard.

19:54 - Dispatch received a call about five to six black cows out on FM 1624 by the Fedor fire station. Deputy Dudley responded and secured the cattle on PR 8017. The deputy made contact with the owners of the property, and they confirmed the cattle belong to them.

20:44 - Deputy Dickerson attempted to catch up with a motorcycle going a high rate of speed traveling northbound on Hwy 77 towards Milam County. The deputy was unable to catch up to the motorcycle and lost sight of it. Information was passed on to Milam County.

20:54 - A caller reported a grey cow out on Hwy 77 near CR 410. Deputy Dickerson and Deputy Dudley checked the area but were unable to locate the cow.

23:08 - Deputy Dickerson conducted a traffic stop on Knox Street behind the Dairy Queen in Giddings. Deputy Dudley arrived on scene to assist. A male subject came back wanted out of Austin. Sgt. Holloway and Deputy E. Hilmo arrived on scene and transported the male subject to the Lee County Jail. Deputy Dickerson and Deputy Dudley remained on scene to finish a search of the vehicle.

 

April 9, 2023

00:03 - Deputy Dickerson and Deputy Dudley were dispatched to a residence on Hwy 77 for someone stealing things out of the house. Deputy Dudley advised that there was an altercation resulting in an arrest in Bastrop County involving the property owner. The victim returned to gather her belongings and the mother intervened. The deputies remained on scene while the victim gathered her belongings.  

01:22 - Deputy E. Hilmo advised he was at The Silos checking out a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle was unoccupied and secured.

03:10 - Rockdale PD advised that they received an open 911 call with no answer pinging inside our county on Hwy 77 N at the Milam County line. Sgt. Holloway and Deputy E. Hilmo responded to the call and checked the area for any signs of an emergency. No signs of an emergency or anything suspicious were located.

03:32 - Deputy Dickerson and Deputy Dudley advised they were out with two suspicious vehicles parked at the Lexington Park. Sgt. Holloway and Deputy E. Hilmo arrived on scene to assist. Deputy Dickerson advised that there were two subjects located, and the male subject was detained. A gun was located and taken by the deputies for the registered owner to pick up from the Sheriff's Office. The male subject was released and given a ride back to Austin by the female subject on scene. 

08:43 - A caller contacted the Sheriff's Office regarding an animal complain. The caller stated she had adopted a dog from the Brenham Animal Shelter and after a couple days, the dog attempted to attack her 5-year-old son. Deputy Kocurek responded to the caller's residence and placed the dog in the Giddings Animal Shelter.

09:09 - A call was received about the location of a wanted individual at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Dime Box. The subject was wanted out of the Sheriff's Office for Stalking. Subject was located and placed into custody without incident.

09:57 - Deputy Eickenhorst met with an individual in the Sheriff's Office lobby who wanted to report a burglary and an assault. Deputy Eickenhorst took information for a report and forwarded the report to CID for an investigation.

10:18 - Caller contacted dispatch to report someone had left their gate open near the 2600 block of W Highway 290. The caller advised there were cattle in the property and there was a chance they could get out on to the highway. Deputy Kocurek went enroute and upon his arrival the gate was closed.

10:47 - A caller contacted the Sheriff's Office to report a black in color Police vehicle on the side of N Highway 77 north of Tanglewood. The caller advised the vehicle appeared to have driven off the roadway. The caller had contacted Milam County Sheriff's Office prior to calling dispatch and was informed the vehicle was not one of their units. Sgt. Jones and Deputies Ellington/Eickenhorst checked the area and was unable to locate any vehicles on the side of the road.

11:54 - Multiple calls came into the Sheriff's Office regarding a grey in color Dodge pickup truck stopped in the roadway on CR 430. One of the callers attempted to make contact with the driver who was found to be unresponsive. The driver then woke up and drove off at a high rate of speed towards Highway 21. Deputies Eickenhorst and Ellington located the vehicle and the driver a short time later. After an investigation, the driver was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated.

12:23 - Dispatch was contacted in reference to the neighbor's bull loose on their property on CR 430. Deputy Kocurek arrived on scene and met with the caller and the neighbor. The bull was placed back on to the correct property and the fence was repaired.

16:19 - A report of a one vehicle accident located on W Highway 290 near Tejas Trading Post came into Lee County Dispatch. The vehicle left the roadway and struck mailboxes. The driver was on scene appeared to be fine and walking around. Sgt. Jones and Deputy Kocurek responded and took a crash report.

19:35 - Loose animals were scene a mile south of Cefco on N Highway 77. Deputy Dudley responded but was unable to locate any loose livestock.

20:14 A caller contacted the Sheriff's Office to report multiple motorcycles driving in both Eastbound lanes on Highway 21. Sergeant Holloway responded and advised he did not observe any violations.

22:48 - Dispatch was contacted about a male subject on the front porch of the caller's residence. The caller did not know the male and wanted to make sure he was not attempting to break in. Deputies Dudley and Dickerson responded. The area was searched but Deputies were unable to locate the individual.
