February 27, 2023

03:44 - Dispatch received a 911 call about an accident on FM 141 near CR 117. The driver advised that he hit a cow in the roadway. Sgt. Holloway, Deputy Dudley and Deputy Ellington were dispatched to the scene. Deputy Dudley advised that the vehicle was drivable and took information for a crash report. The cow was removed from the roadway, and the owner was notified.

07:22 - A resident on FM 141 called in and stated she was told by deputies the prior night to call if the cow was still on her property from the accident. Deputy Haman, Deputy J. Brown and Deputy J. Hilmo responded and were unable to locate an owner of the cow. A cowboy was contacted to come pick up the cow.

07:32 - Capt. Mastronardi advised he was out with the vehicle from a hit and run that occurred in the city limits of Giddings. Giddings PD was advised, and the individuals were released.

08:05 - Sgt. Strouth checked out with an unoccupied vehicle on Main Street in Lexington. Contact was made with the owners, who advised they would be removing the vehicle from the street.

09:52 - A traffic stop was performed by Deputy J. Brown with a vehicle bearing no license plate. Contact was made with the driver, who did not have a valid driver's license. The subject was taken into custody and brought to the Lee County jail. Tillery's took possession of the vehicle. A report was taken.

10:56 - Phillips and Luckey requested a funeral escort in Lexington. Deputy Webber helped with the escort at the intersection of FM 696 W and FM 112.

11:08 - Dispatch received a call about a cow out near FM 180 and CR 130. Sgt. Strouth and Deputy J. Hilmo located and removed the cow from the roadway.

12:12 - Deputy J. Hilmo was out with a bull on FM 180 and CR 130, which was same cow from earlier. The cow was secured off the roadway.

12:19 - A complainant on CR 233 called to report an aggressive German Shepherd was left by the previous owner. Deputy J. Brown responded and was going to try to contact previous owner to come pick up the dog. Information was taken for a report.

13:30 - Deputy J. Hilmo met with a complainant about his neighbor having dead cows lying next to the fence line. Information was taken for a report.

13:39 - Giddings PD advised they received reports of a suspicious male laying on the side of Hwy 290 West in the Hills area. Deputy Haman and Deputy Webber responded and made contact with the subject, who advised he was trying to get back to Houston. Deputy Webber gave him a courtesy ride to the east county line.

15:37 - A motorist reported several calves loose on CR 223. Sgt. Strouth and Deputy J. Hilmo responded, and the owner was located. The calves were secured off the roadway.

17:15 - Dispatch received multiple calls about cows out on FM 141 near Yegua Creek. Sgt. Strouth checked the area but was unable to locate the loose cattle.

18:17 - Cpl. West was dispatched to a residence on PR 8020 for silent 911 call. The resident advised it was an accidental call and everything was fine.

18:24 - A caller requested a deputy to an address on E. Austin Street for an aggressive dog that was loose. Deputy Crenshaw responded and advised the owners to secure the dog.

22:04 - Cpl. West and Deputy Crenshaw responded to a call about several donkeys out on FM 696 E. The donkeys were located and secured off the roadway.

22:21 - A caller reported a cow out on CR 124 near FM1697. Cpl. West checked the area but was unable to locate the cow.

23:37 - Dispatch received a call about a large bull out on FM 696 E just outside of Lexington city limits. Deputy Crenshaw checked the area but did not locate any animals out.

 

February 28, 2023

00:16 - Deputy Crenshaw advised of a cow out on FM 1697 near FM 180. The cow was secured off the roadway.

02:08 - A motorist reported that his semi had flipped and was in the ditch on FM 1697 between FM 180 and CR 127. He advised he had no injuries. Cpl. West and Deputy Crenshaw responded to the accident. B&M was dispatched to tow the semi. A crash report was taken.

06:53 - Dispatch received a call about debris in the roadway on Hwy 290 by the bowling alley. Deputy J. Brown checked the area but was unable to locate any debris.

07:26 - Deputy Haman assisted Trooper Pennartz and Trooper Ntabo in locating a one vehicle accident on CR 203 about a mile from Hwy 290. The caller stated the vehicle hit a fence and was attempting to leave the scene. Deputy Haman was unable to find any vehicles in the area, but advised it looked like the vehicle hit a tree. The owner of the property called stating his neighbor called him telling him the fence was down and that the car hit it. Deputy Haman checked the fence and advised there was no property damage.

07:29 - A caller advised that a cow was out on Hwy 21 near CR 114. Sgt. Strouth and Deputy J. Hilmo checked the area but were unable to locate any loose livestock.

08:43 - Sgt. Strouth, Deputy Haman, Deputy J. Brown, Deputy J. Hilmo responded to an accident on Hwy 77 near CR 455. A motorist called 911 stating his tire blew out causing him to crash into an 18-wheeler. Govan's and Xpress Towing took possession of the vehicles involved. One subject was given a courtesy ride to Cefco in Lexington. DPS took the crash report.

09:27 - A complainant called requesting a deputy to come to Elm Creek RV Park to meet with her. She advised she spoke with the JP who advised her to call the Sheriff's Office to get a restraining order filed against a subject. Deputy Haman met with the complainant and information was taken for a report.

09:31 - Dispatch received a call about a cow out on Hwy 21 near CR 114. Sgt. Strouth, Deputy Haman and Deputy J. Hilmo located the cow and secured it off the roadway.

09:51 - Deputy J. Brown was dispatched to CR 206 for a suspicious person out with a disabled vehicle. The caller stated that there was a broke down car near his driveway and made contact with the occupant. He offered to him help but the subject refused. Deputy J. Brown located a vehicle matching the description at the fairgrounds unoccupied.

11:23 - Deputy J. Hilmo advised he was out with a male subject walking north on Main Street in Giddings. The subject was given a courtesy ride to Rockdale.

12:13 - A male subject was seen walking down Hwy 77 north of Tanglewood. Deputy J. Hilmo made contact with the subject and gave him courtesy ride to Milam County.

12:31 - CPS requested a deputy to meet them at a residence on CR 314 for a follow-up. Deputy J. Brown responded and stood by without incident.

12:43 - Sgt. Strouth and Deputy J. Hilmo were dispatched to CR 447 near CR 430 for a loose dog. The caller stated that the dog had been dumped on by a dumpster. Prior to the deputies' arrival, the caller had called back stating someone came by and picked up the dog.

14:36 - A property owner on CR 127 reported a cow on his property that did not belong to him. Deputy Haman responded and attempted to get a picture of the cow, but it ran off into the back woods of the property. A cowboy was notified to remove the cow from the property.

15:39 - Bastrop County transferred a 911 call for a disabled motorist on Hwy 21 near CR 103. The motorist stated her car had an alarm come on telling her to pull over. Deputy J. Brown responded and gave the motorist a courtesy ride to Walch Store for antifreeze. The deputy was able to help her get back on the road.

16:31 - Dispatch received a 911 call from Post Oak Drive. The caller wanted to speak to a deputy about something but would never disclose what about. Sgt. Strouth spoke with the caller, who kept saying he wanted legal advice before hanging up on the deputy. No report at this time.

18:23 - Cpl. West was dispatched to Gary Street in Lexington for a possible assault. The complainant stated that a male subject hit him and then left the residence. While the deputy was enroute, the complainant called back and stated that he no longer wanted a deputy to come nor make a report.

22:44 - A resident on CR 122 advised of a suspicious vehicle parked outside her address. Cpl. West and Deputy Crenshaw located the vehicle and made contact with the occupant.  The occupant was a neighbor that was on the phone.

23:39 - Cpl. West and Deputy Crenshaw responded to a call about a female subject sitting in the roadway on FM 180 between CR 119 and CR 131. The area was checked but no subject was found.

 

March 1, 2023

05:04 - A motorist reported that she rolled her vehicle trying to miss hitting an animal on FM 696 E just west of CR 406. She advised she had injuries, and the vehicle was out off the roadway. Cpl. West, Deputy Crenshaw and Deputy Dickerson responded along with EMS and Lexington VFD. B&M took possession of the vehicle. A crash report was taken.

09:37 - Deputy E. Hilmo met with a complainant at the Sheriff's Office in reference to a dispute over cattle. The complainant stated that he sold his cows to his neighbor, and they had an agreement. The cows are on his neighbor's property but the complainant has not received payment yet. Information was taken for a report.

12:09 - A caller reported three longhorn cows out on CR 118. Deputy E. Hilmo checked the area but did not see any loose cattle.

12:20 - Deputy Dickerson responded to call about suspicious activity near PR 6025. The caller stated that someone set up make shift tents near the tracks. She is concerned they may be hiding stolen goods under the tarps. Deputy Dickerson checked the area on foot. He advised that the tents were away from the tracks and highway. Everything appears to be okay.

12:26 - A complainant on PR 8049 called to request a deputy meet him about a theft report. The complainant believed someone tried to steal his ID and money. He also stated that due to a head injury he sustained years ago, he is having trouble remembering things. Sgt. Jones met with the complainant, and advised no offense occurred.

12:30 - Capt. Mastronardi and Deputy E. Hilmo met with two subjects at the Sheriff's Office involved in a dispute. A female subject stated that a male subject tried to side swipe her while she was driving down PR 8019. Both parties were spoken to, and information was gathered for a report.

12:42 - A motorist reported a cow out on FM 696 near CR 309. Sgt. Ray checked the area but did not locate any loose cattle.

12:47 - Sgt. Jones was dispatched to CR 207 for a loose calf. The area was checked but the deputy did not locate any loose livestock.

13:03 - Dispatch received a call from a resident on PR 8049 requesting a deputy to walk around his property to look for any suspicious activity. Deputy Dickerson responded and conducted a perimeter check. Everything was fine.

14:07 - A caller reported an 18-wheeler forcing people off the roadway on Hwy 290 West. At the time of call, the 18-wheeler was passing Altman Plants. Deputy E. Hilmo advised that he would not be able to catch up to the vehicle. Information was passed on to Bastrop County.

15:48 - Deputy E. Hilmo was dispatched to the 7900 block of FM 141 for a loose calf. The caller stated that he received a call that his calf was out on the roadway. He advised that he was on his way from Austin but would like for an officer to check on it. The deputy checked the area and did not see any loose livestock.

16:04 - Deputy Dickerson conducted a traffic stop on Hwy 77 at Woodson Lumber in Lexington. A PC search was conducted and the driver was taken into custody. The driver was transported to the Lee County jail for booking.

19:33 - A motorist advised that he was in a one vehicle accident near the 1200 block of CR 306. Deputy Kocurek responded and requested next in rotation to be dispatched. Blue VFD responded to clear the roadway and help with traffic control. Owen's took possession of the vehicle. A crash report was taken.

20:02 - Dispatch received calls about a cow out on Hwy 21 near CR 440 right before Hwy 77. Sgt. Holloway checked the area but was unable to locate the cow.

21:21 - Deputy Dudley conducted a traffic stop on FM 696 at CR 308 for speeding. The driver was taken into custody and transported to the Lee County Jail for booking. Deputy Ellington, Deputy Kocurek and Sgt. Holloway assisted with the traffic stop. Owens took possession of the vehicle. A report was taken for the incident.

 

March 2, 2023

04:27 - Deputy Dudley advised he was clearing the roadway of brick debris on Hwy 77 at FM 448. The roadway was cleared of the debris.

07:19 - A caller advised of a reckless driver on FM 696 West. At the time of call, the vehicle was passing CR 309 and was continuing westbound. There were no units in the area at the time of call. The caller was transferred to Bastrop County.

09:48 - Deputy E. Hilmo met with a complainant at Cefco in Lexington for a theft report. The complainant stated someone stole her cell phone and had the suspect on camera. She also wanted the subject to be issued a Criminal Trespass Warning. The deputy met with the complainant, and a report was taken.

10:19 - Deputy Dickerson was dispatched to CR 316 for a civil standby. The caller stated that her ex-husband was threatening to throw her belongings out in the rain. She was leaving work and enroute to the residence to get her belongings. The caller was able to retrieve her belongings without incident.

11:43 - Dispatch received a call about two black cows out on FM 1624 near CR 335. Sgt. Jones located and secured the cows off the roadway.

14:11 - A complainant requested a deputy to meet him at the Lexington PD in reverence to an animal complaint. Sgt. Jones met with the complainant who was advised to contact Lexington PD.

14:32 - A caller advised of a cow wrapped up in a barbwire fence on CR 335 just off of FM 1624. Sgt. Jones located the cow and was able to free it. The fence was also repaired.

15:41 - Sgt. Jones, Deputy Dickerson and Deputy E. Hilmo responded to a 911 call on Post Oak Drive. The caller stated that his children's lives are in danger. The caller was talking fast and would not answer any questions. The deputies located the caller and advised him to contact Elgin PD for concerns about someone who lives in the City of Elgin.

16:09 - A motorist reported a white Chevy truck swerving all over the roadway on Hwy 77 passing CR 114 northbound. At the time of call, all units were out on a 911 call. Giddings PD assisted but were unable to locate the vehicle.

16:41 - Deputy E. Hilmo met with a complainant on CR 316 about his ex-wife texting and calling him and people he knows. He wanted to file a complaint. Both parties were spoken to and the incident was documented only.

19:06 - Sgt. Holloway, Deputy Dudley, Deputy Kocurek and Deputy Ellington were dispatch to Hwy 290 W at the Junior Livestock Show for a disturbance. Giddings PD assisted with the disturbance. A report was taken.

19:55 - Dispatch received a call about a mattress in the roadway on Hwy 21 near CR 426. Deputy Ellington searched the area but did not locate any debris in the roadway.

20:58 - Deputy Ellington was dispatched to FM 141 at the Yegua bridge. A caller reported some tree branches in the roadway. The deputy removed the branches from the road and checked the rest of FM 141 for debris.

21:05 - Deputy Ellington checked out with a vehicle on FM 141 at CR 452 that was on the side of the road. The vehicle ran out of gas, and they had somebody getting some. The deputy sat with the vehicle until the vehicle was back on the roadway.

21:25 - Dispatch received a silent 911 call from CR 436. Dispatch was unsuccessful in making contact with a resident at the address. Deputy Dudley was enroute to the location when the resident called and advised it was an accidental dial.

21:26 - ADT reported a business alarm on CR 111. Sgt. Holloway and Deputy Dudley responded and advised all was secure.

21:51 - A caller reported a vehicle in the ditch on Hwy 77 just south of Lexington. The caller stated that it may have been in an accident or may just be parked there. Sgt. Holloway and Deputy Dudley responded to the scene. The occupant advised he pulled over to fix something on his truck and got stuck. He requested Owens for help.

22:48 - Deputy Dudley checked out with an 18-wheeler broke down in the 3800 block of Hwy 77. A tow truck was already on the way for the truck. Deputy Dudley sat with the vehicle until it was clear of the roadway.

23:30 - Alarm Connections requested a security check at Lexington Food Mart. Sgt. Holloway checked the area and all was secured.

 

March 3, 2023

04:08 - Deputy Dudley responded to a call about a Dodge sedan parked in the middle of the roadway on FM 696 W at CR 307. Tillery's was dispatched and took possession of the vehicle. Information was taken for a report.

05:01 - Dispatch received a call about several cows on the side of the roadway in the 6900 block of FM 1624. Sgt. Holloway checked the area but was unable to locate the cattle.

06:52 - A caller reported about 6 cows out on FM 1624 just west of CR 323. Deputy Haman, Deputy Eickenhorst and Deputy L. Brown responded and checked the area but were unable to locate the cattle.

07:39 - Deputy J. Brown was dispatched to Hwy 77 N in Tanglewood for cows out on the roadway. The deputy checked from Tanglewood to the Milam County line but could not locate any loose livestock.

08:22 - A complainant came into the Sheriff's Office wanting to speak with Deputy J. Brown about a case he has open with the agency. Deputy J. Brown met with the complainant and took information for the case.

10:07 - Deputy L. Brown was dispatched to the intersection of CR 116 and CR 133 for a cow out. The deputy checked the area but was unable to locate the cow.

10:32 - Deputy Haman checked out at Elm Creek RV Park for a case follow up. A criminal trespass warning was issued.

11:08 - A motorist advised that she was on Hwy 77 North just north of Tangelwood and had been stuck in stopped traffic for 20 minutes. Deputy J. Brown and Chief Garza checked the area but the roadway was clear.

11:20 - A livestock owner called the Sheriff's Office stating that his neighbor advised him that his bull was out on CR 131 near FM 180. The owner advised that the bull should be on his property off Sandtown Road. Deputy L. Brown met with the owner at the location and was able to assist with getting the bull back onto the right property.

12:01 - Dispatch received a 911 hang up from a residence on PR 1413. Dispatch attempted multiple times to call the number back without success. Deputy Haman responded and made contact with a resident who stated it was an accidental call.

13:01 - Deputy J. Brown was dispatched to FM 696 E near CR 401 for a loose calf. The owner was on scene upon arrival, and the deputy assisted the owner with securing the calf.

14:32 - A complainant reported some dogs that had been dumped near her home on Oakwood Drive. She advised that there were about 15 dogs, and some were aggressive towards her daughters. Sgt. Strouth spoke with the complainant and referred her to a couple of rescue groups. If she had further questions, she could contact the Sheriff's Office again.

17:10 - Deputy Haman responded to a call about a suspicious person sitting in a truck on Hwy 77 near CR 418. Contact was made with the occupant, and he was given a courtesy ride to Cefco in Lexington.

17:42 - Dispatch received 911 call from a motorist who stated that a male driver pointed a gun at him as he passed him on Hwy 77 N going southbound. Deputy Haman responded and was able to stop the vehicle at Rockdale Street in Lexington. Everything was fine, and the driver was released. Information was taken for a report.

18:13 - Deputy Crenshaw was dispatched to a residence on Deer Valley Drive for a welfare concern. The caller stated that she saw multiple posts on social media threatening suicide by the resident. Contact was made with the resident, who was oaky.

18:49 - A caller advised that her sister was bitten by a neighbor's dog on CR135. She also advised she was taking her to a hospital in Bastrop. Cpl. West and Dep J. Hilmo responded to the call and a report was taken.

19:16 - Dispatch received a call about horses out on Tenth Street near Main Street in Lexington. Deputy Crenshaw responded and advised that there were people putting the horses up upon his arrival.

20:07 - Cpl. West and Deputy J. Hilmo met with a complainant on CR 441. She wanted to follow up with Deputy Hilmo about her case. Information was taken for the report.

22:03 - A caller reported a longhorn out on FM 1697 at CR 125. Deputy Crenshaw was enroute when an emergency call came in. Cpl. West checked the area after the emergency call and was unable to locate the longhorn.

22:14 - Cpl. West, Deputy Crenshaw and Deputy J. Hilmo responded to a disturbance on CR 127. The complainant stated that a male subject hit him in the face and was chasing him with a gun down CR 127 towards FM 1697. Deputy Crenshaw checked out with the complainant in the roadway who advised he did not actually see a gun. Cpl. West and Deputy Hilmo checked out with the male subject at the residence on CR 127. No weapons were involved. Parties were separated.

22:18 - Milam County advised of two runaway juveniles from the Rockdale area that were possibly seen walking southbound on Hwy 77 between Rockdale and Lexington, Cpl. West, Deputy Crenshaw and Deputy J. Hilmo checked the area but did not locate the juveniles. During the check, Deputy Crenshaw came upon a vehicle parked on the side of the roadway of Hwy 77 N close to the county line. Vehicle was unoccupied.

23:47 - A motorist reported a one vehicle accident on Hwy 21 near CR 326. The vehicle was in the ditch, and injuries were unknown at the time of the call. Cpl. West and Deputy J. Hilmo responded to the call along with EMS and Lincoln Fire. The driver was okay and refused medical treatment. The vehicle was still drivable, and units followed the driver to Walch Store for him to wait for family. A crash report was taken.

 

March 4, 2023

00:05 - Deputy Crenshaw located the owner of the vehicle left at the county line on Hwy 77at Cefco in Lexington. The owner advised that the vehicle was disabled, and he was waiting for a ride.

00:34 - Dispatch received a call about a hit and run accident that occurred at the Sheriff's Posse Arena. Due to no available units, information was passed on to Giddings PD. The caller stated that the vehicle that had left the scene went to a residence on North Leon Street. Deputy Crenshaw met with GPD units on Leon Street, while Cpl. West and Deputy J. Hilmo went to the arena. Information was taken for a crash report.

00:41 - Bastrop County transferred a 911 call about a cow in the roadway on Hwy 21 near CR 107. Deputy Crenshaw responded and secured the cow off the roadway.

09:59 - A property owner advised that six cows that do not belong to him or neighbors are currently on his property on FM 1624 near CR 323. Sgt. Strouth spoke with the property, who was okay with the cows staying on his property until they can be estrayed. Information was taken for a report.

11:08 - A 911caller reported a male standing in the roadway on CR 107 just off of Hwy 21. The subject lives nearby and was wearing all dark clothing. Reserve Deputy Terpstra responded and made contact with the subject. He was advised to stay out of the roadway.

12:45 - Deputy Haman was dispatched to CR 121 to meet with a complainant about an ongoing issue with his neighbor. He stated that his neighbor's tree fell on his electric fence, and the neighbor refuses to fix it. Due to the fence not working, he's had trouble keeping his cattle pinned in. The complainant was advised it was a civil matter.

13:03 - Reserve Deputy Terpstra advised he was flagged down by a citizen who stated that hundreds of beer cans had been dumped in the 5900 block of CR 326. The commissioner was notified. No report taken at this time.

15:45 - Deputy Haman returned to CR 121 to take pictures and information for a report. The complainant was also advised information would be passed onto the Sheriff.

14:37 - A motorist reported a brownish calf out on FM 696 East near the intersection of CR 401. Reserve Deputy Terpstra checked the area all the way to the Burleson County line but was unable to locate the calf.

14:45 - Dispatch received a 911 call about two longhorns out on FM 1697 close to FM 180. Sgt. Strouth located and secured the longhorns off the roadway.

16:02 - Reserve Deputy Terpstra was dispatched to CR 407 for a welfare concern. The deputy made contact with the subject who was sleeping. His sons were on location and are the main caregivers. They were advised to call 911 if they need emergency services.

16:15 - Camp Tejas advised they had a bull on the roadway by the camp. Deputy Haman responded and located the owner. He advised he would remove the bull from the roadway and secure it.

17:15 - Sgt. Strouth, Deputy Haman and Reserve Deputy Terpstra responded to a 911 call on CR 404. The caller stated that his neighbor has an active CTW and was coming up to the fence line threatening him. Both parties were spoken to, and a report was taken.

18:12 - Deputy Crenshaw conducted a business check on E. Austin Street. All was okay.

18:56 - Deputy J. Hilmo and Deputy Crenshaw conducted a follow up on CR 323 in reference to some cows. The deputies could not locate the cows and will follow up with the property owner.

20:41 - A caller reported some kids in a white small SUV drinking and trying to get customers to buy them cigarettes at Bubba's Truck Stop. She believed they may be headed to Dime Box Grocery. Cpl. West, Deputy Crenshaw, and Deputy J. Hilmo checked of FM 141 to Hwy 21 but were unable to locate the vehicle.

22:09 - Giddings Police Department requested assistance with a domestic disturbance on Seguin Street. Deputy Crenshaw and Deputy J. Hilmo responded but Giddings PD units cleared the scene prior to arrival of deputies.

 

March 5, 2023

06:01 - Sgt. Strouth, Deputy Haman and Deputy J. Brown were dispatched along with Trooper Pennartz and Trooper Ntabo to a one vehicle accident on Hwy 21 near CR 401. The 911 caller stated that he saw a car go off the roadway and hit a tree. Ems, Dime Box VFD and Lincoln VFD also responded to the scene. Once the driver was freed, she was transported to a hospital in Bryan. Govan's took possession of the vehicle, and DPS took the crash report.

06:49 Union Pacific advised of a car with its flashers on near the private crossing on CR 118. A second stated it was a Chevrolet SUV that was stuck. Deputy Haman responded and located the stuck vehicle. B&M was dispatched but the driver was able to get the vehicle unstuck as they arrived on scene.

07:27 - A motorist reported a dolly in the middle of the roadway on Hwy 77 South near FM 3403. Sgt. Strouth checked the area but was unable to locate any debris in the roadway.

10:14 - Deputy J. Brown checked out with an unoccupied vehicle on Hwy 21 East. The vehicle was secure and will remain parked at the Country Store.

10:55 - Deputy Haman assisted with traffic control for Holy Family Catholic Church on FM 696 East.

13:20 - Dispatch received a call about a reckless driver on Hwy 21 West near Hwy 77. Information was passed onto Bastrop County due to no units being available.

13:26 - Deputy J. Brown checked out with a disabled vehicle on Hwy 77 near FM 1624. Contact was made with the driver, who advised he was just stretching.

14:23 - A caller reported two bulls out on CR 130 near the Washington County line, Deputy Haman checked the area but was unable to locate any loose livestock.

18:59 - Deputy Crenshaw and Deputy J. Hilmo conducted a case follow up on CR 135. Deputies made contact with one of the parties involved, and information was taken.

19:49 - A complainant advised that her husband had been bitten by a dog. Deputy Crenshaw responded to the call on Caldwell Street in Lexington. Information was taken from the complainants.

19:59 - Cpl. West and Deputy J. Hilmo were dispatched to PR 8049 for a possible theft. The caller reported that he had some items stolen from his property. The items were found and returned to the caller.

20:13 - Dispatch received a 911 call from a number that pinged on Hwy 290 East. The caller appeared to be in a vehicle that was traveling east bound. Dispatch could hear a woman's voice stating that she needed help before the line was disconnected. Dispatch made several attempts to contact the number back with no answer. All county units check the area to the county line but were unable to locate any vehicles or persons appearing to be in distress.

20:58 - A motorist reported a reckless driver on Hwy 21 East traveling west bound near CR 401. Deputy J. Hilmo checked the area but was unable to locate the vehicle.

22:22 - Cpl. West and Deputy J. Hilmo checked out with a disabled vehicle on Hwy 21 near CR 440. Driver advised she ran out of gas and was given a courtesy ride to Cefco in Lexington.

23:27 - Cpl. West came up on an abandon vehicle on Hwy 77 at the Elm Creek bridge. The vehicle was secured and safely off the roadway.
