On December 14, 2016, the Lee County Sheriff's Office along with Giddings Police Department Captain Farah Ramsey delivered wrapped gifts to the residents of Giddings Rehabilitation Center and Oakland Manor nursing homes. Some children were invited to sing Christmas carols to the residents and spread Christmas cheer.
