On March 13, 2020, Gov. Greg Abbott declared that the new Coronavirus (COVID-19) is a statewide public health disaster. Due to the declaration, Texas Commission on Jail Standards requests that inmate visitation be suspended until it is terminated by the Office of the Governor or until the disaster declaration is lifted or expires. Therefore, the Lee County Jail will not accept any inmate visitors until further notice. Efforts will be made to allow attorney visitation.
