Sheriff Rodney Meyer and The Sheriff's Combined Auto Theft Task Force continue working together to conduct 68-A vehicle inspections for the citizens of Lee county. The SCATTF performs 68-A inspections the first Wednesday of every month from 2:00PM to 3:30 PM at the Lee County Sheriff's Office. You will need to bring your photo ID and the vehicle's title. If you have a homemade trailer or a vehicle that is not titled, you will need to bring written proof of manufacture, bill of sale, and any other documentation you have to substantiate its manufacture or ownership. If your vehicle was a gift or inheritance, please bring any related documentation. In the event of inclement weather, such as rain, ice, snow, extreme temperature, as well as any observed county holidays, the 68-A inspections will be cancelled for that day.
