On April 9, 2019, Sheriff Meyer presented Norman Murchison with a scholarship from the Sheriff's Association of Texas. Norman is a student at Texas A&M University in College Station, majoring in Agricultural Leadership and Development. He is the son of Kenneth (Special Ranger, TSCRA) and Lezli Murchison of Giddings. The Lee County Sheriff's Office congratulates Norman and wishes him the best of luck at Texas A&M.
