3/18/2024

Sergeant responded to a residence on FM 141 to assist a mental health consumer.

Deputy responded to a residence on FM 1624 to speak with a citizen regarding a civil matter.

Motorist called to request traffic enforcement on CR 450. Complainant advised oil trucks are driving recklessly.

Sergeant provided traffic control for a motorist assist on Hwy 77 N.

Caller from Giddings St. reported his neighbor speeding up and down the road. Deputies responded and spoke with the violator.

 

3/19/2024

Physical domestic disturbance reported at an apartment on Westwood Lane. Sheriff, Sergeant, Constable Pct. 2, DPS, and GPD responded. No offense, parties separated.

Complainant called to report phone scam. Information taken.

Deputy responded to PR 7703 in regard to a male subject trespassing. Deputy located and identified the individual and the matter was resolved.

Resident from CR 208 reported that two male subjects in a red, Ford SUV came by the house four times requesting to see if any landscape work needed to be done. Deputy responded to meet with the citizen.

Deputies responded to the 2800 block of E. Austin to assist Giddings PD with a reported disturbance.

Complainant called to request a Deputy to PR 7016 in regard to a theft. Upon arrival, the complainant received their computer back from the other party.

 

3/20/2024

St. Joseph Bryan requested welfare check on patient who left with an IV in his arm. Deputy checked the residence and spoke with family members who advised he did not have his vehicle.

Lee County Jail Staff reported an inmate with cuts on his arms. Deputies and Lee County EMS responded to the Jail. The inmate was escorted to the hospital and returned.

Deputy spoke with citizen from PR 1061 in regard to mail theft.

Disturbance reported at Hwy 77 N in RV lot. Deputy, Constable Pct. 3, Lexington PD responded. The parties were served with a criminal trespass.

Multiple 911 calls reported a one vehicle rollover crash on SH 21/CR 107.

Caller from CR 230 spoke with a Deputy regarding a suspicious male subject.

Caller from CR 226 reported a suspicious vehicle parked at oilfield entrance. Sergeant on-duty advised it was a marked patrol unit.

Deputies and Giddings PD responded to 5600 block of Hwy 290 East for 20 head of loose cattle at 3:00am. East bound lanes of 290 traffic were shut down until the livestock could be returned to pasture.

 

3/21/2024 

Chief Deputy and Deputy picked up two stray dogs on FM 448 that were causing traffic hazard. Deputy transported to animal shelter where owner was identified and returned.

Complainant from Westwood Lane reported a theft of $400 from his truck. Deputy responded to investigate and make report.

Caller from Hale Street reported his grandmother took his silver car and left and hasn't been seen for hours. Deputies were responding when another call came in...

Caller from Main Street reported a silver car in his backyard and does not know how it got there. Deputies located the grandmother from the previous call and the family was notified.

Deputy checked on a mental health consumer on PR 1339.

 

3/22/2024

Motorist reported a one vehicle crash on CR 314. Lexington PD and Deputy responded. Deputy took info for crash report and provided the driver a courtesy ride to his job site.

Complainant from CR 113 reported that items were stolen from his truck while parked a dollar general. Deputies responded to investigate and make report.

Complainant from Hope St. reported someone broke his truck window. Deputy responded to investigate and make report.

Deputy was flagged down on CR 117 where a motorist reported four-wheel ATV driving recklessly.

Deputies assisted with funeral escort from Giddings to Lexington.

Caller reported a semi parked on Hwy 290 East, with the driver unresponsive, but breathing. Deputy, Trooper, Giddings Fire, and Lee Co. EMS responded. EMS provided transport.

Deputy and Lexington Fire responded to Avenue G for a fire report. LXVFD advised to cancel.

Complainant reported a noise disturbance at Nails Creek Park lot #8. State Park Police were called, Deputy responded to handle.

 

3/23/2024

Caller on CR 329 requested assistance as his horse got onto his neighbor's property.

911 call from a motorist reporting a one vehicle crash, where the vehicle rolled several times. Deputies, Troopers, Lincoln VFD, and LCEMS responded to the scene.

Sergeant checked on a suspicious vehicle call on CR 213. It was a healthcare worker who was at the correct address.

Three Oaks Mine security reported a Hispanic male wearing camo was trespassing. Deputy responded and advised that the trespasser was in Bastrop County. Info passed on to BCSO.

Deputies responded to Shady Oaks for a physical disturbance. One female subject was arrested and transported to Lee County Jail.

Deputy responded to Third St. for a vehicle unlock.

 

3/24/2024

Dispatch received a transfer call from Washington County. The caller reported a family disturbance. Deputies responded to the scene on CR 122. One male subject was arrested for assault and transported to Lee County Jail.

Citizen called requesting to meet a Deputy at Lexington PD. Deputy responded and met with the individual regarding a civil matter.

A minor crash was reported in the parking lot on Westwood Lane. The caller reported that the passenger was yelling. Deputy and Troopers responded to the scene.

Deputies responded to a verbal disturbance at Shady Oaks. Parties were separated.

Motorist reported a reckless driver on Hwy 77 N/CR 411. Deputy located vehicle and made a traffic stop at Hwy 77/SH 21.
